lets not be overly optimistic. the scenario robert paints is very possible, i would say its 50-50 right now. if it was 20 runs left with 8 wickets remaining i would be confident.

If i re-call it right, in the 1st test against NewZealand we need some 60 odd runs and had 6/7 wickets in hand.. we lost the match...
there is reason i cannot be optimistic, as ravage said, Pakistan's tail is already exposed, it is on Azhar Ali if he can hand around and score some 25+ runs... others like Akmals and Malik it would purely coincidence if they can win it for Pakistan, it would make lot more sense if they loose it for Pakistan

its a testament to how low pakistan test cricket has sunk, that even after needing 40 runs with 7 wickets, victory is not assumed lol

If it was 60-70 we needed then wed have a worry but 40 runs and 7 wickets in hand, we definitely level the series tomorrow :)
Pakistani bowlers bowled their hearts out..I hope Amir gets Man of the Match.
Kaneria was pretty useless though.
I hope we get the 40 in the morning without any further drama..Umar Akmal is going to try to get the runs in two overs but we shall see.

As I said earlier, we must win this game convincingly and not by 4-5 wickets margin. The confidence with a convincing win will do wonders for rest of the summer, Inshallah.
