The 2 wickets that Amer took after lunch on 2 consecutive balls reminded me of wasim akram's 2 wickets in the 1992 WC final. Keep it up amer.
You should have seen the relief on salman's face when umar amin got the wicket. salman had the good sense to persist with him when he was beating the bat in his first over, and he was rewarded with a wicket in his second over. Salman immediately said a very visible shukrana at that time.
Keep it up team pak. make us proud.
Even though the wicket got a little easier during the second half of the day, the ball was still swinging. The quality of bowling from Pakistan was definitely better. Aussie main bowlers haven't been very impressive so far. If this continues they may not have an easy time during Ashes.
Good to see Farhat spending time on the wicket. Azhar Ali wasn't convincing. He scored most of his runs in the thirdman area...no real glimpses of excellence from this guy so far.
It is going to be a difficult first session tomorrow...If they survive that..the later half would be much easier. Can Umar Amin play a Dravid..can Umar Akmal deliver..can Malik justify his selection..we all know the answers but I am hoping for a pleasant surprise.

ravage.. I am probably a bit biased against Asif.... the whole steroid drug taking nonsense has turned me off.. for me he is not a genuine player and his performances will never overshadow his proven cheating.
I have a hard time forgiving cheaters be it match fixers or steroid users..

**You can't say that was a good Test innings from Umar, he didn't seem to inclined to take his time. But this match continues to move along at a pace
Umer Akmal need to rested for a series or two... he has shown immaturity... he may be is not ready to handle all this fame and glory of International cricket...
If a batsman gets out on the best ball it can be forgiven but with the attitude of young Akmal, he can get his side under pressure.. guess what, he already have them under pressure with his useless innings

Agreed ...... they should limit him upto ODI's and T20 like some other guys ..... For a nice test team i think Salman Butt should quit from T20 and focus on Test and ODI's ....We are missing other Test opener as well bcoz Imran Farhat also have T20 Mood

Hilfenhaus to Umar Amin, OUT, 84.3 mph, but now he's gone! Hilfenhaus sent down a slower-ball bouncer, which Amin saw early and tried to duck underneath. But he left his bat poking straight up like a periscope, the ball struck the side of the bat and looped gently to square leg, and Amin's got to go. He was starting to look really good at the crease, and will be very disappointed at this dismissal
