Re: Hisba Bill
Although I am a secular person but I will defend the right my people to decide for themselves. I also know that MMA owes its victory to backing from the powerful Pakistani establishment but now that they have been elected let them do whatever they want to do. There should be political battle against MMA and not non-democratic moves.
Sahaidu, why are you refering to ISI again and again?
Re: Hisba Bill
The only peoples whose opinion matters in this respect is the voting public of NWFP. If they voted for MMA then this bill is their right. No one elses opinion on the issue matters.

from which city do u belong..... I agree MMA is not any good political party and how they came into power....but atleast i can see progress in development of peshawar... When i came after 2 years , now i can see the difference...
specially The bus station which is first step u enter the peshawar from different parts of pakistan.... I can see now roads are made....first there used to be SAo dirt, muds and during raining it was worse...Now this is not the case....
The other Boad area on jamrud road...its now clean... all the mud houses vanished..... The buildings that no power full persobn could eliminate... MMA ruined it bcz they were occupying parts of road.. And it only hapened bcz tey just at night crushed it and by morning people get to know abt it..... That was something even today people often talk abt even the small investors and SCCI(sarhad chamber of commerce and industry) which says it was impossible. And it has been possible...
And i know the reason behind it... MMA wants people to know that what NAtionalist haven't acheived they did it and they are delivering it...
And i can feel the change of people. .. But problem is that THis mullah is saet in our minds.... I don;t say they are good bcz i hate mullah more than any one else... But fact is that when some one is doing good work, despite my differences i will be with them in development....
We can atleast acheive common goals and sorry to say politics are never dirty but yes in countries like ours and india its really dirty..
Bcz even everything is linked to politics... but politics also have defined role and is has agendas and all parties first priority should be country progress.
And who ever is doing development work one should be with them... who don't have differences...? Real prob is not listening and even not being togather at common goals and creating hurdles in the way bcz of credit...
Sorry abt ISI... i was just referring some material to novoices so that its good to have enhanced knowlege.
Re: Hisba Bill
They are not a political party at all. They are just a hodge-podge of mutually hostile religious groups brought together by forces, that be, to act as pawns in the strategic front in the north-west. And they’ll be as long as they “can be retained”. It is not the welfare of the people or divine motivation. It is all politics played on our land for the benefit of others.
You either are poorly-informed person or a gauche to conclude based on superficial observations. MMA didn’t do what you credit them for. The illegal intrusions into main highways were demolished by the governer, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah with some of the $$$$$$$$$$s, the state received for co-operation in war against terror and military operation in tribal areas. Important factors also are the priorities and policies of the donor agencies.
MMA is an instrument in the hands of others to arrest the natural evolution of our society, nothing more than that.
Mr. for fifty eight years, your state has been ruled by the not-so-invisible powers and their allied groups of the right-wing pro-centeric politics (Muslim League, PPP, etc.) and not nationalist. No one can have access to power and resources in the pure-state until he/she sings the songs of the establishment (look at Saifullahs, Mir Afzal Khans, Nawazs, etc.). It is the policy of the Punjab-dominated establishment to weaken liberal, progressive politics. For most of the history of this country, either it ruled dircetly or through its cronies i.e. the ML, PPP, and religious right and economically and politically strengthened those that were willing to serve it.
Wash your mouth and take ablution before talking about nationalist. Their 100 years of history against oppression and for democracy and people-right, pre-partition or post-partition, is witness to their nobility, unlike Jumaath, the maiden of estab.
There will be no real-development until there is autonomy, control over resources, and rule of democracy.
Re: Hisba Bill
You got it wrong brother. These road were not constructed or improved by MMA. These were improved during the rule of the interim governor Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah before the last elections.
