Congratulation, large number of Pakistani citizens desired to be implement the such law in country especially common, poor and under stresses who never can get justice, if the experience and exercise will be successful remained people of others provinces deeply feel need of the law, if MMA provide the people every thing rightly according to the law people will accept if the used favoritism and extremism like Taliban then situation will be very terrible, I hope MMA never lead the Taliban. I hope MMA will have the responsibility to provide appropriate job to jobless for being peaceful and satisfied which one has most priority in the Islam. I hope MMA according to Islamic law will see to every class with one eye, never use bigotry. Still we have need to stay in hopes because this is very difficult for Pakistani Muslims and if they will be successful it will be great effort. I much listen in Europe all matter has been going according to Islam except few matter like wine and sex, I hope MMA never start any intent against Europe because I feel Europe is no enemy of Islam we Muslim himself first enemy of Islam’s. if I feel Islamic law has been launched and going very well I must settle in NWFP.

In their style of government, the Mohtasib has UNLIMITED powers with no check. In other words, if you miss your asr prayer and the mohtasib catches you and puts you in jail for 3 years, you can not appeal his verdict.
Also, religion is a personal matter and as the Quran states, 'There is no compulsion (coercion) in deen'. So how come these guys are allowed to monitor your prayers?
Allah's fear should be instilled in Muslims from within and NOT by danda of a Mohtasib or MMA. If you are going to follow deen out of fear of MMA, then you are committing shirk right there.

Hisbah Bill is a set of code of conduct being implemented by the provincial majority gov't of MMA in NWFP. It is based on ex-Taliban style of govt. They have come up with their own interprettation of Islam.

You answered didn’t address the lack of right to appeal against the Mohtasib. I don’t think the bill in its current form is a good idea, but since it’s what the people of the NWFP want then they should have it.
If the bill is an incorrectly applied form of Islam and opresses the people, then they could simply vote in a secular party to repeal it at the next election.

Did anybody watch Capital Talk last night on GEO? They were discussing the Hisbah bill with prominent members from both sides of the debate. The female speaker was going nuts and screaming. I swear, I thought she was going to rip the MMA man's head off.
