Hisba Bill

Re: Hisba Bill

They are not a political party at all. They are just a hodge-podge of mutually hostile religious groups brought together by forces, that be, to act as pawns in the strategic front in the north-west. And they’ll be as long as they “can be retained”. It is not the welfare of the people or divine motivation. It is all politics played on our land for the benefit of others.

You either are poorly-informed person or a gauche to conclude based on superficial observations. MMA didn’t do what you credit them for. The illegal intrusions into main highways were demolished by the governer, Syed Iftikhar Hussain Shah with some of the $$$$$$$$$$s, the state received for co-operation in war against terror and military operation in tribal areas. Important factors also are the priorities and policies of the donor agencies.

MMA is an instrument in the hands of others to arrest the natural evolution of our society, nothing more than that.

Mr. for fifty eight years, your state has been ruled by the not-so-invisible powers and their allied groups of the right-wing pro-centeric politics (Muslim League, PPP, etc.) and not nationalist. No one can have access to power and resources in the pure-state until he/she sings the songs of the establishment (look at Saifullahs, Mir Afzal Khans, Nawazs, etc.). It is the policy of the Punjab-dominated establishment to weaken liberal, progressive politics. For most of the history of this country, either it ruled dircetly or through its cronies i.e. the ML, PPP, and religious right and economically and politically strengthened those that were willing to serve it.

Wash your mouth and take ablution before talking about nationalist. Their 100 years of history against oppression and for democracy and people-right, pre-partition or post-partition, is witness to their nobility, unlike Jumaath, the maiden of estab.

There will be no real-development until there is autonomy, control over resources, and rule of democracy.
