I don't know what evidence your looking at. It's pretty clear the victims caught Davis by surprise, so a planned execution is ruled out. He shot them through the windshield, so it hardly seems like this was a random drive by either. Reports say he shot them again in the back too, and honestly I would too. If someone is out to kill you and has a gun Id make sure they were dead.
i sincerely suggest you to catch up with news and read a little more before you start commenting... will save you embarrassment, that of course only applies if you are not a US embassy/ CENTCOM employee, like we have a few here...

i have an idea
if any of the policeya who arrested Davies can testify that while being arrested Mr. Davies said derogatory remarks about Islam and the Holy Prophet (PBUH), then the Mullah party will make sure he is shown the way to the gallows, alongside Asiya bibi ..
No proofs are required, no investigation necessary - just hang him
