My mom used to remind me each time I would go over the speed limit, not anymore. Dad still sometimes tell me “Ab iss line mein kar lo”…“Ab iss line mein kar k iss gaari k aagey daal do”

thats exactly what punjabi/urdu tomtom refers to…like for when im driving my brother in the passenger seat, we approach the junction and he leans forward looks left then right and says ‘challo challo’ and heres me says ‘dekh liya abh mujey dekhne do’ uffff and when… I think we all steam up when parents say such and you just can’t even say ‘I know’

My brothers normally don’t normally say anything except when the light turns yellow and I stop instead of running a red/yellow light. They tell me “acha bhala jaa saktey they kia”…that GETS me going and I yell "mein tumhari baar bolta hoon?

you have to be VERY VERY carefull while trying to stop at the Yellow light
The un-written rule is that at least 3 cars have to pass - AFTER the yellow light
If you are the first and decide to stop
The guy behind you - can hit you - in your … you know what

well, my brother dropped someone off to the airport today, mom was in the passenger seat…mom was saying to my bro who was driving…‘is lane may challo’, 'm4 pey jana hai '…yaha left… gaddi nu jaan de…ruk ja etc etc..
my brother got so frustrated…he said ‘mum menu pata mai…tussi punjabi tomtom banjande oh’. 
I didn’t want to utter a word…couldnt keep it in long enough, I had to burst out laughing. Mum said to him 'batameez !!! mai sochyay ke eh punjabi tom tom kadi nai sunna (means she never heard of it)…they eh kinnu kehreh!!! She realized he said it to her after we laughed…it was cute and funny

I had an accident back in 00 or 01 when I was behind a truck and the light turned yellow. I assumed that the lady would speed up and pass it, so I also sped up trying to pass it. Guess what? She decided to stop My car skidded and ran into her freaking truck. Nothing happend to her turck as the bumber was made of heavy iron, meri car ki hood ka kaam hogaya
Guess who got the ticket? Me for following too closely
