so, as long as Pakistani women happily consent to marrying cousins or wearing niqab, others shouldn’t be bothered, right?

I criticize their culture and when they criticize mine, I should not feel ‘ashamed’, right?

Why can’t we realize that we are “different” (unless ‘assimilated’) and be comfortable with what we are?

its not about being ashamed but if there is a point then it must be considered.
just because something is or has become part and parcel of our culture does not make it right.
and this applies to all cultures.
