in hinduism everyone is not equal.Their is so many different castes in hinduism ie untouchables, brahmans etc etc.
my friend converted to islam just cos hinduism is rascist.DUring hajj everybody is together and equal as brother and sister ie rich and poor, black and white people.

Then why are Shias/Suniis killing each other over secterian diffrences ? Iran/iraq war lasted for 8 years. Allah knows how many men/women/children were raped/killed/murdered in that war.
Just browse through the religious section for postings by Shias and Sunnis disrespecting each other.
I understand that Islam itself does not teach us to be Shias or Sunnis......
Does Hinduism itself preach these differences or have the people brought them in?

the shia sunni nonsense is not part of islam just like muzna said.Also, every religion is not perfect, only islam is perfect!!!!!!!!! the point im making is that the actual hindu religion preaches rascism as my friend found.

if hinduism is not rascist then why do so many poor hindus convert to islam, its because they want to escape labels that their religion gives them ie untouchable. During hajj poor people are respected just as much as rich.
in the dawn paper a few months ago their was a article that in india a whole village of hindus converted to islam.

I see in your reply that you say Islam is the best,it seems to be a competition who is better.I always thought that Sufis do not need to stoop to these levels, you seem to be showing ego and one-upmanship,there seem to be no humility in you.It seems you have the need to insult other religions to make yourself feel better about yourself,Sufis should have no need to do that.
Firstly i dont like to think of "caste" as anything to do with my belief in god.The caste system was relavent when it was inroduced..and now it has been deeply sown in indian society, money and wealth to the upper clases has widened the gap.FOr me THE CASTE SYSTEM HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CORE OF MY RELIGION.Hinduism evolves with time..and hte caste system is something bad it is still caryying with it.There are no religious texts which teach that the rights of "lower" castes hould be violated as they are today.
You said that many hindus are convverting to islam..maybe true(im nto sure) but these hindus who are propably un-educated and have grown up in a typical ritualistic type hindu environment.Did you know that so many EDUCATED people are starting to embrace the true philosophies of hinduism.this truth does not have anything to do with caste,beef,idol-worship etc.

as for hindus converting to islam then its true, id ont know about anywhere else but in the uk their is so many converts from hinduism and sikhism especially.
There have been converts to Islam, but I don't think that there have been many as you think in UK, there have mainly been people who have married to muslim spouses,and in order to marry them have to convert first.
you are wrong ranjeeet.When i went to this conference in glasgow their were 3 sikh converts to islam that gave talks on what borught them to islam. They were from newcastle and served time in jail for various crimes. a man called khwaja aslam reformed these guys. They live in blackburn if you want to see how many other sikhs have converted to islam but not cos of marraige
A few weeks ago a Sikh guy from our Area felt he was ready to convert to Islam. And there are others like him..
In today's society, no one can force anyone. There is a lot of information available, so people choose to make up their own minds...
I see they were from prisons,it's well known that prisoners are targetted in prisons to be converted to islam. Blackburn as I know is a predominately Pakistani/Muslim area,there would be very Sikhs there anyway.
As British muslims, you should know that prisons are full of muslims, they do their heroin smuggling,go into prison,come out as totally reformed characters,whether they stay like that it remains to be seen.

what about the area i live in! its the rich end of glasgow where majority very rich jews and hindus live, acccording to your philosophy i should be a hindu. There is 3 converts from hinduism there and the next one is my friend. i dont never discuss with my indian friends religion, if they have questions then im obliged to answer.
