NEW DELHI: India’s opposition Hindu nationalists and Muslim groups are heading for a confrontation over a controversial move to get all Indians to sing the national song on the centenary of its adoption next month.
The row was sparked this month after the government asked all schools, including Islamic madrasas, to get students to sing the song, which is separate from the national anthem, on September 7. Within days, it backed down and made singing voluntary after Muslim leaders objected.
Muslim groups say the Sanskrit language song, “Vande Mataram”, penned by Bengali poet Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, has strong connotations of Hindu deity worship because it reveres India as a holy goddess, which is against Islam’s basic tenets…

And its talking about the country/mother and not a Hindu deity. It is not a ‘Hindu religious song’.

This is the start of struggle towards making of a new Pakistan within India again..... These moves are paving the way towards demand of another separate country .....

Yes, these Hindu bull heads cannot foresee the outcome of their actions.
Once it created Pakistan
Now it can create another Pakistan as the same bull headedness is being shown here again.

It might result in some anti-nationals moving out west to join their brothers across the border. But no, I dont think there will be any other outcome.:D

you can dream about it but it aint gonna happen.
I used to have some espect for dailytimes but it just turned out to be an gali-muhalle ka news paper .. if they cannot report right then better dont report it at all.
it only shows what kind of propoganda machine is working to fool people of pakistan with false news...
