Friday night’s blast in south Goa’s Margao town has brought to centrestage the Sanatan Sanstha - a right-wing Hindu group already under investigation for planting bombs in theatres in Thane and Navi Mumbai. The two men who died in the blast are believed to have links with the group. Apparently, they were killed because the bomb went off while they were attempting to plant it.
The Goa Government says that three other bombs - three defused in time - were also planted by men with links to this group, which has been against the Narkasur effigy competitions in Goa for giving more importance to the demon Narkasur over Lord Krishna. All the bombs were placed close to competition sites.
“It was clearly an attempt to disrupt communal peace,” said DIG Rajendra Yadav of the Goa Police.
NDTV has learnt that:
All four bombs had the same composition viz. ammonium nitrate, gelatine sticks, detonators and timer devices.
The scooter in which the bomb was planted was borrowed from a Sannstha member
Suresh, who borrowed the scooter, is the brother of one of killed accused Yogesh Naik
Suresh and the other detainees lived with killed accused Mulgund Patil
Goa’s Home Minister Ravi Naik has initiated an inquiry. “They confessed before they died,” he said, adding, “We have evidence. Malgunda Patil’s mobile had phone numbers of other Sanatan members.”

He was a suspect .... but on further investigation there was no connection found between teh two .... so he snot part of this case. And as i said he is already in jail for a crime he is supected of commiting. If someone in Indian establishment was sympetahtic to him ... he would have not been in prison

The issue is, if there has be a CS on Samjhota Express Blast, then Pakistan was a party in it, so they just saved him from that, now he is having his time by controlling everything from Central Headquarter, i mean Jail

Each case is bring handled by respecting investigation agency .... just like if there is a bomb blast in lahore ... ti will be investigated by lahore police and in case there is a blast in Karachi it will be investigated by the Sind police. Surely you wont have Punjab police investiagtting a Karachi blast .... hope that is the case in Pakistan, I franfly am not aware how things work there.
How come Pakistan is a party to Samjautha Express blast ? .... perhaps you have been bending backwards too much for the Americans to think that if your national is killed in another country .... then you become a party to the investigation.
What is he controlling from jail ? It is not the he was the head of an organisation and he is still running the organisation ( must sound familiar to you) from the jail !!!!!
SE is/was being run - as the name suggests - jointly by india and Pakistan.
Many precious Pakistani lives were killed in the blast by hindu terrorists on indian territory(the indian investigation officer had all the leads before he was murdered)
And you think Pakistan should not ask india to share its investigations and question why the suspects are being released even though there is evidence of them being in one way or the other involved in this terrorist activity?
So … that doesn’t mean there has to be joint investigation . This is international norm … wherever the accident takes place, it is the local authority that investigates the accident. Though the country whose citizens have been affected can certainly ask for information on the case !!!
Well Pakistan is nobody to question why a suspect has been released or arrested with a case that happened in India … though they surely can ask for information. This is the way things are done in civilized countries … perhaps it is time you learn about it.
