That said, this doesn’t sound like a purposely publicised conversion aired just to rub it in the hindus’ faces. This happened to be a live show where the guy happened to convert by choice. Don’t know why anyone would be offended unless this was a forced conversion or the tv channel had some malicious agenda?

And isn’t it self-explanatory why other religions don’t enjoy the same status in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan as much as Islam does? The whole hindu vs muslims shebang was the reason Pakistan was created in the first place. Decades later, we still haven’t moved on I guess.

1st of last para is where you have stated Muslims understandably enjoy preferential stattus. In other words minorities are discriminated AND it is understandable per your logic. While Indian Muslims - they are persecuted
I hope you can see the bias in your posts.

I fail to see where that post said anything about Indian muslims…let alone any reference to them being persecuted.

The way I understood is that since Pakistan was built on religious divide and majority muslims areas were converted toPakistan, obviously the country would have laws in which muslims would benefit.

Again there is nothing in the post which stated that other religions in Pakistan would not have their freedom.

Hence in that post,

Nothing about Indian Muslims being persecuted, and nothing about Pakistani hindus being persecuted.
You just added that yourself.
