I personally know a guy who used to recite Quran on his way to his factory sitting on his back seat in the car… and he was killed by a mob in his factory because he took off an old Ramzan calendar from the wall and was accused of blasphemy. The doctors who made the autopsy on his dead body told me he has never seen such a mutilated dead body. He had hundreds of fractured bones and was subjected to this mob violence for at least an hour with police standing as a bystander… What you think is an encouragement to promote Islam in our country has become a sheer madness and stupidity..

Why should an Islamic Republic not favour Islamic conversion? And following logically it should also not favour conversion to other faiths …?

Policy in an Islamic Republic should be - encouragement to Islamic ideals, whilst respecting and protecting every human - even the most dissenting voice. We as humans have been put on the earth as vicegerents for Allah (SWT) … by extension Muslims need to lead “humanity” by example of being kind and considerate. There is nothing wrong in promoting conversion through the media to Islam - because it breeds goodness - it should make the Muslims realise that we aught straighten up … There is no basis for non-Muslims to feel threatened by this … if they are threatened then that is a problem, which is a separate matter .

Alongside people converting Muslims need to be shown in the media protecting and taking good care of the minorities to show that not only is it noble to accept the invitation to Islam, but those who do not are completely safe and protected.
