Twisting my words again. I said it is understandable why the dominant religion of a country would be the most celebrated/popular religion in the country. Where did I say discrimination is understandable? Did you not read when I said I stand by the Pakistani minorities in speaking up against the persecution and putting pressure on the government to put an end to it? What does that tell you - that I not only condone discrimination but am also turning a blind eye to it?

Jeez, I have not and will never defend discrimination. All I was saying was I don’t get the uproar over a tv show because if we were to start listing stuff in the media that could potentially incite hatred, I could list hundreds of things that the so-called secularists seem to be okay with. That’s all I was saying, don’t twist or complicate it, please.

BBQ one thing I honestly try not to do is twist anyones word. Of course discrimination happens in India against Muslims and happens against minorities in Pakistan. You asked me not to put words in your mouth - so I dug up your posts that to me indicated you could understand prefrrntial status of Muslims in Pakistan while bringing up discrimination vsxmuslims in India.

Most here are decent - andnno doubt in your posts you have stood against discrimination against minorities.

Where I respectfully differ from you i1) this Maya lady has a reputation to play the conservative card
2) this type of tamasha is not healing - rather it has potential to create insecurity among minorities
3) if roles were reversed Muslims would protest showing of Muslim conversion to Hinduism in Pak Tv. In fact heads would LITERALLY roll.

Out of regard and respect for your posts in generwl, I will try my beet not to add to this thread. Because no good appears to come out if it.
