Manno, about putting ourselves in their shoes… I’ve already done that in my mind… The Netherlands is one of the secular countries where muslim minorities feel so intimidated that we had this Dutch guppan amongst us who said she wanted to emigrate elsewhere as soon as she could. Let’s say they showed a muslim converting to another religion on Dutch tv, should muslims also react so strongly to that? If they did, it might make sense to you, but it still won’t make sense to me but that certainly won’t mean that I’m condoning discrimination, would it?
