I don’t think that makes very much sense. The whole purpose of hejab is supposedly to avoid attention from non-mahram men by “concealing” your beauty. Sitting on stage in front of 300 men, dressed in a bright red gown, and covered in makeup and elaborate jewelry, it doesn’t seem like you’re making any effort to avoid attention from non-mahrams, even in you do throw on a hejab.
Frankly, this reminds me of the girls you see wandering around in skin tight jeans and gaudy makeup, but with a full hejab pinned on so tightly you can’t see a single hair popping out. It just looks ridiculous.
