I think its about time you re-evaluate your so called "Friend" personality. The incident happens in life, some people ignore them and move on, some people learn and move on. This is not embarrasing, this is disrespectful. Now you choose if your respect means anything to you, it means anything to her too, if not, you choose to have a better friend. Life is all about the choices we make. Do you have to live with a bad choice ?...............You decide.
One very important thing I forgot to add: DO NOT HIT/SLAP them!! You could get into serous trouble for fights in school and ruin any scholarship chances you have and ruin chances for recommendation letters from teachers you liked. You destroy your own rep this way. It's plain stupid. yeah it seems like a kewl idea at the time, but trust me it's dumb.
Rule of thumb of life: Do not touch another person, no matter how mad you are!!!
