Hey, i wasn’t sure where to post this, but are there any girls who wear hijab and work out in a public setting, like a gym, aerobics, or running outside? i’m about to start it and i need tips on what to do, how to wrap it etc so that i can be very comfortable.

Oh,,, your Gyms don't have swimming pools. OK, how can sher workout in her hijab?
Let me educate you, a gym has weight training and aerobic equipment. You see you need water to swim so if she wanted to swim she would go to a pool and would have mentioned that in her post.
As for working out. Umm, I don't see how covering your head is gonna prevent you from anything. People wear caps and such all the time. It's not as if she is talking about a burka here.

Oh, Ok, You mean it is enough to cover her head and there is no need to wear a robe, If she wears tights and cover her head, would that be allright? Why covering head is so important? I would say to Her that she shoud use her head NOT cover it.
If she went to all female gym it wouldn't even be an issue :)
That's what most sisters do, good for them.
i wear a hijaab n i do taekwondo…lol

I hate public gyms.
I used to work out with a female instructor -she moved though. Im looking for somebody again.Sara maybe you and your friends can look for somebody like that. You can all share the costs. Its a bit expensive- I mean the private gym programs but they are available.
Move to Saudi Arabia.
^ any particular city you'll have in mind ? ... how will that solve the issue at hand?
^ matsui likes to think he's funny.Dont crush his dreams.
This is serious stuff MQ. Saudi Arabia is a haven for women's rights.
matsui jee, bichari sara wants a simple answer.I dont think she wants to move to Saudia Arabia.
Serious question: What do they wear to go swimming? Im assuming its in a secluded place where no one else can go.

There are perfectly fine swimsuits out there. The type that cover the whole body.
Cool - just wondered!
Thanks!
Good point, I know for sure they have separate gym/pool facilities for men and women. :k:
This may not be a very practical solution!
