MS Mc12IT, Sheyn is fully capable of handling such issues & answer any misguided accusations. She also happens to be a mod of this very forum and a channel manager, that is why she is not entertaining these silly provoking accusations. As for Lady Lama's reply, she happened to be there when this discussion took place, unlike you her post weigh more in eyes of those who were there or know Sheyn.
[note] If these silly judgemental statements will not stop, then I will have to take an appropriate action. Sheyn don't have to come here and "defend" her stand on this issue over & over again in front of people who know jack about the issue or were not even there. I am fully aware of what's going on here in threads like this and other sections of GS (including the things the parties "contributing" are not fully aware of) and I will not let this section to be part of any game. Period.[/note]
Aight, that's what I'm thinking now.. Either Sheyn is from the pind who can't comprehend in English well or she is a plain pansy who can't speak for her self.. thence the need of little jellylike creatures to back her up.. let these two handle their own thing, it'll be less messy and more adult like... why do you or some milly chilly needs to hinder in for the sake of your own entertainment.
Mc12IT
let it go please. You don't know her enough other wise you wont saying those things.
I suggest if have so much misunderstanding try to know her better. It will do you a good.
But at leaset till then stop hurting/picking-on ppl .

Hijaabi or non Hijaabi our ticket to Jannah is our amaal first our farayiz and believing one GOD.So this is a big no that if a person doesn't wear hijaab she is going to hell.(ALLAH reham karey) But what I understand and just don't come running after me its just what I understand that the more you put efforts in Islam the more higher Jannah you will get. For example
1) Saadia is neik and she says her salaat five times a day and to reside in a society she doesn't wear hijaab but modest clothing , she knows what is right and what is wrong and she has a huge respect for ALLAH SWT and Prophet Mohammad (p.b.u.h.) but she listens to music and sometimes hangout in parties too but she never crosses her limits.
2)Now there is girl Haleema who knows everything too she is neik and shareef too , she says her prayers 5 times a day she knows what is wrong and right. She knows it is really hard to wear hijaab in a modren society but she does it for the love of ALLAH and Rasool so she is just doing an extra effort for her deen.
Looking at these 2 examples both will go to Jannah because both are neik girls but the only difference will be how much effort did they put.ALLAH SWT told us that there are seven levels of Jannah and we all know that the more neik you are the better level you get.Its a universal truth the more effort you put in your grades the better results you get.
And people who are talking about those hijabans with skinny jeans and hijabans with whatever be hayaii they are not good examples of muslims, these people are hypocrites or munafaqein.
Women who cover their faces are putting more efforts and seriously they are more neik because first they are dealing all the criticism and everything and above all they are covering their faces too. About ****tle cock burqaas it was a cultural dress to cover yourself fully just like we have jeans or something. but covering your face is a different issue, you can cover you face with scarf or chaddar too if you really want too.
***It surprises me to no end , that it isn't the non-muslims that are making these claims but the Muslims nowadays!!!!!!!
I've seen recent posts on this forum that proclaim wearing a hijaab is a sign of being oppressed and those who propose it or wear it are orthodox and it makes me wonder how conveniently people twist Faith to suit their needs!
Hijaab is a Sign of Liberation from cultural and societal norms but not everyone has the courage to wear it !
Coming back to real topic I think even though people don't wear hijaab they should respect who wear hijaabs as they are doing hard job, seriously everyone doesn't have a courage to wear hijaab or niqaab and there are critiques everywhere.

Except that there is nothing in the religion that asks a woman to cover her face.
Re: Hijaab equals Oppression
I don't wear a hijaab but I find it very disturbing when fellow non-hijaabis make fun and badmouth hijabis in general. I recently met a girl who was trashing hijabis right left and center, she said if these women want to wear a hijab/niqab they should go back to Pakistan. I asked her why should they remove their hijab if they want to live here, they're not terrorist and she goes on to say 'oh you know Dr Afia Siddiqui who is a hijabi and she got several degrees in bio from here and went back to Pakistan to work for al-qaeda'..Like hello? she doesn't represent all hijabis and neither is it proven that she indeed worked for some terrorist organization. This girl really shocked me because she was blaming hijabis because she has to go through security checks every time she flies. Why should we blame the hijab for that? It's just a piece of clothe that women wear to show commitment to Islam. We should respect them instead of accusing them of terrorism and all sorts of other sick things!!
^ :k: Well said.
I believe the main reason for that is that they don’t want hijabis, or other Muslims who choose to show their commitment to Islam, to come in their way to success and acceptance in the Western world. They don’t get accepted so they feel the need to blame the ones that are already given a bad name by the media. Sharam ki baat hai that Muslims themselves are defaming their religion. You don’t even respect yourself, how do you expect others to respect you?

come back after pizza and then we will talk :)
soooo... what was this thread about, again??
Can't remember.. ciao.
Re: Hijaab equals Oppression
I respect those who wear hijabs but I would not say Hijabis are better than the non hijabis because religion is not just covering up your head only.. but I wouldn't sit quiet either if someone is making fun of those who chose to wear hijabs.. i'll sure stump them by Hadith and Quran verses but one has to remember that it's a religious topic and you can't be too outraged to prove your point.
come back after pizza and then we will talk :)
umm okay.. few slizy moo to go
And again Dogbert… you feel the need to mention my name. You seem obsessed with me too or something.
Or did someone step on your tail that makes you bukbuk about me since yesterday? And oh, how about you get your eyes checked and you’ll see that Sheyn has explained her side of the story. She doesn’t need me or anyone else to back her up. We’re replying because we were witnesses of what happened that day.
PCG is quite capable of handling her issues or owning up to what she says , she doesn’t need a side kick Dogbert.. or did she run out of material that she needs YOU to speak for her?
umm okay.. few slizy moo to go
