Re: High school haunts

HS was in manhattan, so it was quite claustrophobic environment.

But the enjoyable moments were the hang-outs in time squre and 42nd streets (the mecca of porn, peep shows and XXX adult stores:D). We (me, my puerto rican friend Jimmy and his sister and a pasty white polish jew boy) used to take the F train to Brooklyn (a lot of hassidic jews live there) and routinely played pranks on them and other white folks. Jimmy was an outstanding rapper and could rap free-style like a mudda. He even encouraged me to make out with his sister, who happened to be a hottie:blush:. Sighs Good ole days…

There was one h2D punjabi indian girl i had a crush on, but she was going steady with a sturdy irish kid who eventually F&Ced her right after high school as predicted.

F&C=fk and chuck
h2d=hot to death

Re: High school haunts

Terrible time. I was often humiliated because of my pakistani clothes, I was never allowed to wear anything western, not even if it was unrevealing. There was this dude in a higher class who always chanted 'ghandi ghandi ghandi' whenever he saw me passing. Then there was a small group also of a higher class who would call me 'hey Turk with trousers and a dress, haha' . That was just the beginning. And on top of it, I sucked in gymnastics, because they were mostly basketball or football (soccer), whenever the ball came in my direction, I ran away from it :D

But it was a bit fun too, I had this one friend with real carrot orange hair. We both had ugly teeth adn I had just gotten braces (I was often asked if I would be as kind as to open cans).
She was huge, very tall and I was average. We were so different and people always stared at us when we would be walking during lunchbreaks. :D

She was my only friend. So it wasn't that bad I guess.

Re: High school haunts

When I was in high school, my instructors used to catch me very often reading/looking(at) playboy magazine or other adult litreature. The ironinc part is that all my instructors kinda loved me, I was one of those fortunate few. I still remember that when I was in sixth grade, my backpak was checked by the school principal, and they found two adult movies. Oh good old days...

Re: High school haunts

high school years were the most unconstructive years of my life...i hated my highschool with passion..( i still do..) i had 2 close friends..but we all had different lunches...

Re: High school haunts

Highschool sucked. A skinhead sat behind me in mathclass but he was really just a bald, fat guy in army surplus clothing whose dad was on welfare. My grandmother developed Alzheimer's disease. I developed the taste for black clothing and industrial music. My room was also painted a dark gray color. It was all around the most chaotic and confusing time of my life. I almost died a few times I think. I never want to go back.

Re: High school haunts

oooooooh God well i am a senior and reading all of these messages is making me feel like such a nerd/loser! i spend my off time usually in library as lib aide/ or as lab asisstant in bio lab/ or as tech aide fixing computers and stuff in the school. my off time as a relative fun is non-existant!! I mean i spend time with friends and stuff but not more than 15-20 minutes in a day. What do i do!!?

Re: High school haunts

I love hs. Yeahy for me.

Re: High school haunts

Am i the only one to have detested high school?

Getting up at 7am in the morning and attending all classes (wagging came in the later years) UGHHHHHHHHHHHH i shudder to think of it.

I hated it despite having a gang of paki friends and having many funny moments. But, ugh, i just hated it.

Re: High school haunts

we were 6 guys and 17 girls in the class....
all brilliant students (bar a few girls), the principal and all the teachers respected us for being intelligent and good-mannered....
hence, we did what we liked and no one questioned us....
what went on in the class is definitely not what ppl on GS wud associate with me.... :p

Re: High school haunts

^ Hey people change over time, im sure u had ur idiotic phase just like all ofus :p

Re: High school haunts

I never attended high school in the US. I went upto 8th grade here and did my 9th, 10th and FSc from Pakistan. The first two years were a nightmare but the 2 spent in college were awesome. College in Pakistan is the most fun time in a girl's life.

Re: High school haunts
