High school haunts

Re: High school haunts

i loved my hs years. in kuwait everyone knew me in school, i used to pull so many pranks on the teachers n principal... but i was adored by everyone so used to get away with everything..hehe. oh the good ol days. in canada, it was fun but different. i had few odd experiences but rest of the years were great especially when i moved to downtown. i miss those dayz. but i think i am going to miss my university years more.

Re: High school haunts

MQ- High Schoolers who are good at studies don't necessarily 'love HS'. They would love to leave it ASAP.

Re: High school haunts

HS was awsome. I went to a HS that was 80% Arabs and I had the time of my life. Everyone knew me and I was soo very loved :)

Re: High school haunts

Nope, not true. I mean in order to love high school you would have to enjoy your courses, get along with teachers, have a social circle etc. I liked almost everything about high school…hm except for the bad marks and the fact that I always forgot my locker combination.:stuck_out_tongue:

Re: High school haunts

To enjoy high school, you had to have at least one friend, preferably be in a clique. Otherwise school is unbearable. Ugliness didn't matter if you had attitude in spades.

Re: High school haunts

Not necessarily true. I enjoyed my courses, got along fabulously with my teachers who adored me, had friends from all the different social circles, etc. but I still didn’t like high school, and it had nothing to do with looks Funguy.

Re: High school haunts

I am not saying that not so good looking students don't enjoy HS. It's all in the head. Some people are very good looking but they are too tangled with other emotions/feelings etc to realize their outlook which matters a lot at that age. They feel misplaced. That's when they start hating high school. On the other hand, people who are comfortable with their outlook seem to enjoy it more. I guess it has to do with that age/phase of life.

Re: High school haunts

You would get beat up if you were on our circle of friends. That’s being a snitch. If the teacher caught you with your friends, just keep your mouth shut and take the punishment. Don’t try to save your own ass and leave the rest of the crew hanging.

Re: High school haunts

I hated high school coz I wasn’t allowed to do anything. Parents dropped me off, and picked me up 2 40 on the dot, even wheN i had to take the bus, my mother would come wtih me. I come home 3 pm and that’s it…no going out to hang out with friends, nothng..i cudn’t ven go to the store by myself . …i hated high school

Re: High school haunts

High school days were the best...I had a whole group of friends I used to hang out with(STILL do).....We did so many things together like taking college bridge courses, participating in student clubs n functions, taking part in after school sports...We were some of the most active students in school.....It was just great, all my teachers used to adore me and had so many good expectations about my future career wise(I bet they'll be dissapointed if I tell them whats goin on in my life right now!)...sighs...I miss them n I miss my highschool days!

i’ve learned that we trade one set of problems for another…so I’ve the freedom I craved (not as much though, but much more than in my high school days) but then other parts of my life aren’t going that great :bummer:

Why get married? Why not live on your own?

Re: High school haunts

HS was fun. I remember senior year the most because i was introduced to a wonderful drug named marijuana. I also started to work at a local pharmacy and suddenly became the beer connection for the entire school. and then that led to getting other drugs which were mostly pharmaceuticals.

Re: High school haunts

LOL… forgot to mention. I was the only one who was smoking. Rest were not. So, I was the only one who was called by the principal. I bet someone had leaked it out. So, I had to save myself :clown:
