If you were trying to indicate the doctrine of turning the other cheek somehow adversely affected Africans you are wrong.
And most African-Americans would disagree along with Africans in Africa today. The doctrine of turning the other cheek can be used and was used as a prerequisite for slavery; along with other forms of subjugation and colonization.
