That is the worst rationalization I have ever heard. The Israeli economy is a money making machine, and the Palestinians are living in grinding poverty, and getting worse every day. Explain to me again about how you living in luxury is economic warfare? Or is your plan sort of Stealth warfare that will take a century or so to work?

I hope Hezbollah doesn't have any affiliations with Iran, other then those regarding transfer of money & weapons, as mentioned by their leader in one of his previous speeches.
Hezbollah is more than just an organization which "fights" Israel. If you've been to Lebanon, you can see that they play a very helpful role in the society. It offers various types of help to the Lebanese people, including charity funds, free of charge rebuilding & refurbishment of homes after a disaster, free of charge schools & nurseries for the public, and other such institutions. All the while, it remains, a non-governmental organization.

How do you know Hezbollah are running? I take it you're on the South Lebanon border watching them, right?
Hezbollah are a guerilla force not a fully fledged military with a combined triad of army, navy and air force. They thus fight their own tactics and not the conventional way to suit the enemy. And as it happens its alledged hundreds of Hezbollah fighters have thus far been killed in the fighting which would somewhat make sense considering the huge aerial bombing they're facing and given the fact they want martydom. I'm willing to bet they'd rather die fighting and take an IDF soldier down with them than run or surrender.

my allegations? in the last 1week pluss whendid hizbollah ‘fighters’ go take israeili military head on, they have been lobbing rockets in civilian areas mostly. 500 israei troops are on lebanon border, hey go face them mano a mano if you are indeed ready for martyrdom and are fihting for glory of faith and all the usual crap their delirious leader spews, why hide and have the Israeili military blow up the area.
show me proof of anything over the last week plus counter to what I have stated and I will take my words back.

cheetay, I am not talking about the social service side of hizbollah. The fact that they built schools or provide services is not what is getting them and lebanese civilians into this conflict, but their militant side is and that is what this thread is about. they should not call themselves party of god and fight their battles in a way which is contrary to what the protocols of war are per god and the prophet. them lobbing missiles into civilian populations goes counter to how a war is to be fought. Please dont say Israel is doing the same, I do not agree at all with how Israel has handled this and i do not expect that state to behave in a rational and civilsed manner, but that does not mean I would support anyone who opposes them.
This is a query about hizbollah, and how can they be ‘holy warriers’ per say when they cant abide by the basic protocols of a war, and why the words dont match the deeds, you read the statement by their leader and it seems like they are engaged in some hand to hand combat all over, reality is quite diff. They like their other brethren the taliban, have decided to run and hide.

I remember they were showing this old lady who had evacuated with her grandchildren, when asked about her son. She said he has told her that he'd rather die fighting the invaders than to die with his roof falling over his head. He joined Hezbollah and had told his mom to look after his kids if he dies.
One of the Hez spokesman had said. The world had yet to see a lot of surprises from Hezbollah.
I wonder what's to come. For me it was a surprise they were shooting rockets in civilian areas. I wonder what there justification is.
Also I remmeber from the news report that the Israelis have 13 dead bodies of the Hezbollah ppl - prolly used for exchange in the future.

1- I am not in south lebanon, but then niether are you so we are both basing our views on reports we are hearing
#2- ppl can die fighting or they can die hiding, just cuz they are dead does not mean they had some kinda grand offensive
#3- as far as sources go, I have looked at all sources, US, Uk, al jazeera, arabnews, you name it, heck even by Hebollhahs own leaders message there is no indication that they are fighting, but just that they intend to.
regardless, idiotic israelis are bombing, idiotic hizbis are hiding and only ppl getting hurt are the innocent lebanese civilians..I pray for them.
