unfortuntely nowhere its mntioned how mny times or frequency to give thaz y i thiot to ask fellow guppans. did u give tea to aariz..thaz his name rite?:)

thats odd... on mine it does... i guess try to get a hold of the dr and refrain from giving everyday until you get told about the dosage
i only give aariz camamoile (sp?) tea when he gets a cold... it really helps his nasal passage making it easy to breath
i also give the fennel seed tea with peppermint for when his tummy is upset.
like i said... i dont give him tea aisay hi... waja ho tho do. tahts why they have teas for diff reasons ...

wow thaz amazing.. no wonder milupa has all kinds of tea.. fennel, chamoile and all... but i m givin her herbal tea.. wot is that gud for? i tried makin fennel tea at home but it never cured her colic so i dunno if i shud try the fennel one from milupa..

^ herbal tea is a generic term. All those teas are herbal teas. Can you see the ingredients of yours?

yup! it has fennel, peppermint,anise, thyme... so its basically gud for normal days i guess..

i think she meant each kind of tea(fennel, chamoile) is meant for a specific issue. i m givin her herbal tea. since 2 days i havent given her the tea btw.. she seems fine and pooped without it. so if a baby is normal with little or no issues herbal tea shudnt b given.. i m sure it cn b... only few times a week i guess

Right, and the tea you are giving has a whole bunch of herbs that help treat various issues.
I feel, unless there is a necessity for it, avoid it. If for no other reason than the fact that a healthy baby at this age should be consuming milk. Any other fluids given will reduce the milk intake. So unless there is a reason to give those, milk is best for her nutrition.

hmm ure rite.. she still has one month before she is 6 mnths.. so after 6 mnths how mny times shud one give? did u give enaya tea?? if so when and how mny times. these days i m givin her 2-3 bottles of 4 oz each and my milk and once a day i give her milupa mixed fruit cereal 2 tsps with water.. today i didnt give that and gave her 1/4 banana mashed instead. MA she seemed to enjoy it.. i mixed it with a lil bit of milk cus she wasnt takin banana directly.

I never needed to give Enaya tea. Her constipation hasn't lasted that long AH.

i put lil formula 1/4 spoon i guess of formula in the mashed banana and then added a lil water thaz all... this is better than givin the mashed banana directly cus she made faces..

so u mean u dun give her tea at all these days?? they say tea is so much better than juices cus juices have so mch sugar and all. but then ur daughter is a bit old rite? shes 9+ rite? so when enaya was my daughter's age u gave her tea only for constipation?

mall... sahar has NEVER given her girl ANY tea AT ALL. EVER. :)
also... whenever i have given aariz tea, its never been so much that it replaces a milk feed.
tea i have always made in formula... make tea mixture in water like you do... then add formula powder to it..
now whenever i give tea (toddler yrs), its always been just a few tsps here and there... not in one go.
i believe other than the camamoile tea, you arent meant to give them in large amounts... especially not the fennel seed one...

kher... its not something you should make your child dependant on to poo or pee or eat or whatever.

I give Enaya juices, but usually diluted. You can find sugar free juices. And I only started that in the past month.
And I have never given her tea.

did u dilute the ones available in supermarkets.. the ready to drink ones?? i saw quite many baby juices in few flavours and i was wonderin if they r supposed to b given directly without diluting! sometimes when u r out its difficult to dilute it i guess. i read i can strt juice after she is 6 mnths old atleast?

US is very different from middle east, my daughter's pediatrician would probably throw a fit if I mentioned herbal tea :p
