You might want try these girls from Mississauga, they are called Fresh Inc Mehndi. They did my bridal mehndi last summer, they were very accomidating, and very friendly and did a great job, much cheaper than other quotes I got. They came to me in Scarborough without any issue.
try pinkys salon...shes AWSOME i get my mehndi done from her all the time..shes very good
website- pinksbride.com
you can see her work on facebook- its called pinkysbride
I know a very good mehndi artist, shes really reasonable with her prices than punita and dimple but her work is really good! Her name is Fia. My sister and my cousin both got her bridal henna from her and they loved it. She even travels too, she came to our house and she did our 30 relatives in one night. Shes really good. The colour is really dark too.
i’m still waiting for a quote, 1.5 week later, from these girls.
even if they’re not available/interested, it would be nice to get an email or a call back saying so.
so yeah, i’ve booked sumaiyah who was lovely to talk to on the phone and will hopefully do a great job. http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1053472845&ref=ts
me and my sister in law run a Mehndi for Charity Organization - called Sisters By Design. All the profits go towards building a new masjid for the Islamic Forum of Canada (www.IslamicForumOnline.com). We are based in Mississauga & Brampton.
sumaiyah came and did our mehendi last night and she is AMAZING!! she’s incredibly fast, her designs are slightly more arabic-inspired than desi but her details are beautiful! the colour has come out ab fab too so i’m extremely pleased! i only had the mehendi on for about 4 hours before i washed it off and it was a lovely orange first and now its darkened overnight to a beautiful dark brown. her mom runs a salon on gerrard and sumaiyah the head mehendi artist there. highly, highly recommended. she’s a very sweet girl. she charges the standard $5 per side for mehendi and she’s very quick to get back to you via phone.
Anyone heard of Anjuman who does bridal henna? I think she works at a salon in Mississauga? My mom's friend recommended her but I haven't heard of her before. Any reviews?
So I went for a trial with Punita and she's really great! She is pricey though. A friend of my sisters who's getting married has booked with Shikha (Henna by Shikha) and I am thinking of checking her out also. Her facebook pics are decent and her prices are more reasonable. Anyone used her and have reviews?
I have three recommendations ..all three can be found on facebook :)
I JUST discovered the first business, i lovee her work, if only i had found out about her earlier, i would have definitely booked her for my event.
I booked the second and third one for my engagement event, will let you know how it goes.
