I am getting married in a few months. could anybody please tell me where to get bridal mehndi done in toronto?? anybody good? also does anyone know where i can get a good bridal photoshoot and video done? i m desperate for some help!!!

well i know of a couple of ladies- punita is quite popular. she charges $100 for bridal mehendi and does it for you at home. i found her to be a little bit fussy to deal with but shes good at what she does. she lives in mississauge- i dont have her number on me anymore- anyone else??
i’m going with dimple shah (www.thetouchofdimples.com) - she charges
$100-$300 for bridal mehendi depending on the pattern you choose from her book, and she needs a deposit to secure your date. im going to go and put my deposit with her this sunday- i needed her to come by in early august and she’s already booked for some dates then- so if you’re wedding is in a couple of months, you better get moving!
as for photographers, theres tons of them out there. www.theperfectweddingguide.com - click on their Wedding Directory and their Photographers/Videographers. its a good starting point.

Punita's good and so is Dimple. But beware, they are rivals and they are always looking for info on each other.
Vijdan for photos and video- he's a weirdo, but he's good.
Shirley for makeup- she's great!!!!

a friend of mine went to shirley for a trial just recently, and said she looked like a drag queen at the end of it. but then she did my friend annie's makeup last summer and she looked SO gorgeous on her wedding day.
always go for a trial!

$300 CDN 
I hadn’t chosen the package, my sister in law who pretty much organized the entire function (from both sides), chose the package herself.
I will nver get mehndi done again! Period!

Well, it depends on the amount.. i had elbow length as well as calf length. IMO it was worth it, but she has less expensive packages and i'm sure they're just as good, quality and design wise..just less area covered, thas all

Do you guys know anyone who does this sort of mehndi around Toronto? My wedding is next week and we dont have anyone for mehndi yet…We dont really like the heavy indian style mehndi…so if you guys know anyone who does it at home or anything … would be of great help…

I find dimple's designs a bit too crowded...and expensive too
anyone else...who just does something like what's in the pictures and wont charge as much...

PSB- You should try Saboohis Salon she is in mississauga, she did my friends heena and just like you my friend didn't want to much on her hands she did a good job, and she was cheap too. So try her if you need her contact info let me know i will pm you. Hope this help.
