ok well the thing is, there is more to this story. i don’t want to talk to my parents about anything because** i don’t want to give my mother excuses to taunt me. my mother has always been a screamer and a self pitier (if that is even a word) and a fuss starter. she has always given my brother priority over us sisters. everytime she gets into an argument with my dad she brings his entire khadaan in it. she doesn’t even leave his dead mother alone.**

i don’t want to go into details about it but i am not on very good terms with my parents. the only reason my mom agreed to give him a sponsor letter was because she wanted to look good in my aunts eyes, who originally came up with the idea of sponsoring him. she has always given me threats k ‘main daikhti hoon yeh rishta kaisay hota hai, uski maan ka call aaya tou main bol doon gi tu kitni beghairat hai, etc etc.’ i was hoping that he would settle down a bit and then we could marry and i could just move away from daily taunts/arguments, but i guess it won’t work. i am just thinking of moving out on my own and letting him deal with his own probs. do shikar with 1 teer!

I’m sorry about your situation…that REALLY sucks…looks like ure stuck between a rock and a hard place. If he’s using u well ure using him as well, ure using him to get out of a bad situation with your parents…but i don’t think you realize that by marrying HIM, you’ll be in just as bad a situation…not the same one but maybe worse.

I think you did have the right idea by moving out and getting yourself out of your parents house AND dumping this guy.
