Hi guys,

How can I disable timestamp last seen next to mobile. I have tried everything on earth googlingg…urgh. Anyone please help. Thanks

You mean on messenger?

1. Hide Last Active on Facebook Messenger for iOS

Open up the Facebook Messenger App, go to the "People" tab.
Tap "Active" menu at the top beside messenger tab. This shown up the list of all of your active Facebook friends.
Disable the toggle button next to your profile name.

i use facebook app, messenger app.

SID_NY I already disabled that toggle button. still shows last time I was online. :(

Ok here is the workaround that I think may work:

-Log out of FB app or click "Not You" so you are completely out, delete it if you want to but not necessary.

-goto Safari browser and Facebook from there, it will look more like a desktop fb but it does same things, save this page in your Bookmarks or Save to Screen. You'll stay logged in just like on the App but
LAST ACTIVE will disappear unless you TURN CHAT ON!

So your phone now thinks it's fbooking from your desktop.

Ok so I completely logged out from facebook app. went to safari logged in and turned off chat. made home screen icon and left it on. logged into my husband account from facebook app..lol still see last time I was online 5 mins ago :(

Create another FB id and sign in to messenger.
That's how I sign out of messenger.

If you have multiple id's for messenger and you are logged in with your secondary Id. Messenger will notify you if anyone sends you message on primary Id.
All you need to do is sign in with primary Id to check the.messages.

DMD, I removed my account from fb messenger. but signed in my husband account.
then I signed in my account using safari, chat off.. made home screen icon and I still see last timestamp next to mobile after I checked using my hubby account :(

^ go to "Settings", then "Security" and then "Where you're logged in" there you need to disable all the activities. I hope it works, but I think you need to repeat it everytime you logs in...
