Hi All,
Has any1 got contact details for Fariha the makeup artist based in east london or her colleague/partner Noreen.
I’ve booked her for my bridal makeup in 4 weeks and have been trying to call her recently but she doesnt answer and has not responded to my voicemails either!!
If any of you have her contact details then please do let me know as I am extreeeeeemely pareshaan!!

Dont think any1 has her contact details, but i suggest you to book another Make-Up Artist Incase 
If you've called her several times and she has not made effort to call you back, I would see that as a warning. I agree with the comment above and suggest you have a back-up just in case.

I am sooooooooo p'd off as it's extreemly unprofessional for her to do that!!!! I mean, even if she can't do the makeup, atleast call back and let me know!!

But now i'm reallllly pareshaan as I have no makeup artist for my big day.......I've only seen Fariha's work and I really liked it hence why I booked her.....
Colourful eyes - yes be great if you could find out and let me knwo as soon as you possibly can, as I'm extremely worried........Apparantly her partner Noreen (i think thats her name) was suppose to do my makeup, but i dont have her contact details......I just have Fariha's mobile numb......
I'm now thinking of trying ot get hold of Naveeda, Lubna Rafiq or Rihana (from e.london - i think).....
Any of you guys used any of them or seen their work????

hey did you get my pm before? i really think you should go down to check it out at least. they won't charge as much as these make-up 'artists' and will do makeup, hair and duputta. probably at short notice too.

Sorry I couldn't reply sooner, wrote a long reply only to find that I'd forgotten my password and couldn't post on the forum so had to wait a couple of days
for account activation.
Anyway, sorry to hear that your having problems getting in touch with fariha. Have you managed to get hold of her yet?I did manage to get hold of her after,
I've lost count of how many calls and messages. From what I've seen in the magazines she and noreen share the same mobile number.
I really think you should find another makeup artist fast if you haven't paid her any deposit. When I was looking for a MUA I spoke to several to get
quotes and out of all of those, only she and and only one/two took ages calling back. The ones that didn't get back after calling so many times, I call
bad customer service. If you book a MUA for a wedding, it's good customer service to call the customer back asap. After all you don't need this kinda
stress on top of your wedding. I don't think she is very reliable if she hasn't bothered to call you back.
If you have paid her a desposit, I would try leaving a message addressed to Noreen and Farhia and saying that you have booked them and would like to discuss

Also, have you seen her portfolio of work or do you know any friends, relatives who have had her. If you haven't, don't go ahead with her until you have.
I've never seen her work and don't know anyone personally who has.

Did you manage to get in touch with her? I have her pencilled in for my wedding next year but can't seem to get through to her? Does anyone have any info or any other contact information?

I know its a very late reply to you all......sowieee....Okay, i never managed to get in touch with her and nor did she call me back....Apparantly she had a baby, BUT REGARDLESS, she should have got in TOUCH or got someone to call all her bookings to make them aware of the situation!
It was verrrrrry unprofessional of her......I have seen her work as she did my best friends makeup, she did an excellent job which is why i was soo keen to get her to do my makeup, but she let me down BIGTIME, and that on the last minute, and as we all know, weddings are extremely STRESSFUL, and to have no contact from your MUA literally a few weeks before your big day is the scariest thing ever!!!!
Anyhooooo, I got Naveeda to do my makeup and she did an excellent job, was very lucky to get hold of her in such a short period of time.....
Ambreen is also another BRILLIANT MUA, he work is FANTASTIC, so would deffo recommend her.....
Hope no-one else goes through what i did....x

I'm so glad you got a good MUA in the end! Any chance you could post pics the makeup she did on you?
Also I'm still 9 months away from my wedding. I cannot find Fariah's number anywhere. Can you please give it to me? Risky I know but I will keep a back up!

hey guys
i tink am a bit late to reply but anyway its ok. i got my makeup done from a lady called Rosey. OMG she awesomeeeee.she specialize in Swarovski and people know her as swarovski artist.
she done my makeup in purely pakistani style even i was shocked and she also applied swarovski crystals on my eye lids and where ever i asked her.
she's also does swaroski work on Mehndi/Henna, body etc for speacial occasions like she done it for my wedding. amazing.
She made my big day sooooooooooooo special. worth every penny

princess02 mentioned rosey's makeup who based in London and people know her as swarovski lady.
I love rosey's makeup and her mehndi decoration with real swarovski crystal is mind blowing. i would recommend her for mehndi decoration and makeup both. i use her for every party in my house ;)
