HEY GIRLS!!!

I really want to know any good parlour in dubai sharjah…my wedding is scheduled in april and looking for a parlour who can do professinal paki makeup there…like sabz etc

anyone please help!!

theyre all pretty goood... theres even a Shahnaz Hussein's parlour..not only do they use herbal and safe products,you will get makeup done as per your wishes...

i suggest u go for a rehearsal and see what suits your face feautures...ive got a few others too..but i think theyre make up is a little too loud..thts very common in the UAE..

U dont know how glad i am to hear from you… it is really an amzing information for me…i was so worried about my make up and photography… thanx alot …but Buddy i wod be really happy if u cud send me any picture of any of these ladies /parlours..

and do u ahve a personal exerience at these [parlours… secondly wat do u mena by rehearsals…and if they are makeovers so do they do for free..i mena i dont think it wod be praactical for me to go for a makeover to everyone of them…saray paisay karch hogayeeen gayy:D

anewaz i need ure help on one more thing…and that is PHOTOGRAPHY…i want really nice photography and i want u to guide me here also

honestly.. i havent gone into any of those parlours for a complete makover myself...but otherwise yes ive been..n they do a very good job....but yea i have seeen many of my friends n family who have got it done from them...and trust me...looks fabulous...

unfortunately i dont realy have pics to show u ...but will try n look around or get hold of someone for you..

but wat i suggest u could do is..go to these parlours and check up wit them..cuz im sure they have pics of wat they have done for clients...or if not their portfolio...

and for the photography....the only ones i can think of is

Arman studio in dubai...! they are one of the BEST! but u wil really have to pay the price...cuz they're one of the studios who do it for very high profile clientele...

Are u what An angel for me in the darkness.... wow what are u doing for me...i really appreciate from the bottom of my heart.

I will definately look forward for a pic that u said u will look for and as soon as i reach dubai i will definately pay a visit to each of them.

one thing shazia, u said ure friends looked fabulous....can u tell me how will u rate these parlours according to their work as dear i will land probabaly one week before my wedding and u can imagine how much work i will ahve to do so checking them then can be an issue. and yes can u roughly tell me how much should they charge me for a bridal makeup...u know when u go for the first time, u can get caught up with high prices if i will have an idea...i can quote them that...or may be i am telling u sumthign cheap...well i feel its better that i ask u that.

about the studios how much they will charge and if its out of my budget then what should be the second choice. i hope i am not bordering you...

well i have seen depillex 's website..the makeover there are not very impressive...so i thought i shouodl ask u guys for a better choice. they may be doing good on some...????

Monalisa, Congrats ...where do u stay? in Dubai? I am in Sharjah and plan to get married soon, too, most probably Mid year2007 and as lazy I am, havent started to bother about it.. Hey, can I learn from your experience, good or bad? Please keep us posted of the progress. I would let you know, too, if I come to know of sth. worthy. BTW, Where r u getting married? I mean hotel, shotel?

thanx a lot ....depliex is in jumeria...and u can take the address from its website..... my preparations are limited to the net and telephone now coz i am not ni dubai at the moment so when i will reach actually then i will visit hotels/parlours and photographers thats why i wanted to finalise the ohotographer from here.

Anewaz i thinits a good idea of thinking planning from now coz bel things get piled till the end.

if u get to know about any new things do let me....hey i suggest why dont u visit the parlours too that shazia suggested and share ure experience wid me as well..coz if not now then u have to fianlise ure parlour too sumday...well i will visit then as soon i reach there...about the photgraoer too...shazia told me few..u can check them too..

About hotel i am 0 On 10......so here i will need ure great help....i have heard about MOVEN PICK, JF MARIOTT it has a hydrolic stage , MArbella resort near shajah creak...starts from 85 per person to 100 and sumthing...

I called few of the photographers infact give this responsibility to my bro in Dubai.....the ones i called are quite expensive can u give me an idea that in how much amount i can get a decent photographer...sumone who captures the spictures really nice sumone new started and does a good job and is 2500 -- 3000 AED are a decent amount to be offered??? let me know please

and does these photographers also do Movie of the event

Desperately needing help in Dubai

Hi guys,

My wedding and my sister's wedding has been confirmed recently. Both of us are supposed to be married in Dec (a wk apart).

We dont know where to start. Could anyone help us or advise on the below items:

  • Reception hall - we were thinking of Al Boom or Trader's Hotel. Has anyone tasted their food? They are both quoting around AED 100. Does anyone know of anything better?
  • A good beauty saloon for makeup and hair, preferable in Karama or bur Dubai area. We have heard of Arushi, but they arent giving a trial. We would prefer a makeup artist, if she is reasonable.
  • A good photographer / videographer, who is reasonable and would cover all the events.
  • If possible a good wedding planner, as this is the first marriages over a long time in the family...

Any advice or suggestion would be welcome..... Thanks...
