OP, are u expecting her to drive, work (or finish her education), does she speak English? Is she going to be living with your family and will she be able to socialise much outside the home? The homesickness thing that someone else also mentioned could be a real issue if she doesn't feel comfortable or as tho she 'fits in.' There are a lot of issues to consider when thinking about bringing a wife over here to the UK.. It was hard for a lot of our own mums - and that was even tho they were married to men from 'back home' as well without the possible culture gap etc.

More seriously, I think you should reflect over why you're marrying her. Because she might be pretty and maybe you find her innocence charming...and the looks can sometimes sway a person's ability to think clearly.....but do you think you and her are compatible? Do you really have chemistry...do you connect intellecutally/emotionaly/belief systems/temperaments/goals/humor? Apart from romantic/sexual compatible......what about other issues?

@Sara516 and @inspiron](http://www.paklinks.com/gs/members/inspiron.html) I think a lot of you have misunderstood why I want to marry her etc. I am not marrying her just because of her looks, which obviously is important, but she is funny, understanding and has a really cool family (which just makes things more smoother) on top of other qualities.
@Deeba1234 And her “innocence” is not what makes me want to marry her. It does not matter to me if the girl is “innocent” or “not innocent”, I like a girl for her not her “innocence”. And she can speak English and she won’t be living with my family but with me in a different house.
@Janjua39 why didn’t i marry someone from the UK? Well firstly because even having gfs doesn’t mean a 100% guarantee of finding the one you want to marry, in my case obviously that didn’t happen, my intentions were pure and of long term but things happen. Secondly I like the girl i met in Pakistan. I had no intention of marrying from Pakistan but i got engaged to her because i like her.
I don’t expect to do anything with her before marriage, I was talking about with regards to after marriage.
And lastly I AM NOT A NON-MUSLIM AS SOMEONE ASSUMED! LOL, I am a Muslim with some questions, so I don’t fully practice due to these questions but that’s a subject for another day.

When you are serious about finding the right one you date them talk to them for a while before you can make your mind up if they are a suitable match or not, if you were in Pakistan im sure it wasn't for long so more or less your decision prehaps was based on her external charm. Paindans have never been my cup of tea, all the best to you.

because for most of us who are born/raised outside of Pakistan, almost from the start, in every which way we're told that girls from Pakistan are far superior and better than their "ABCD" counterparts...when it's not true at all.
Then ABCDs should hate the ones who tell these lies and not Pakistani villagers.

And maybe the guys will go on about girls hating the villagers... but she knows english???? I mean, you hear of guys leaving the village to go to the city or another country and they pick up on english. But hell, my cousins are from a city and they can't speak english, so I'm confused. Did she study in the city? Or are you just saying village, but in reality she's from the city?

Only those Pakistanis who studied in elite schools or went to army institutions are good at English....or if they were able to teach themselves.

Eventually, most evolve and grow out of that thinking that any one particular group of people is all bad or all good....and begin to realize that there's good and bad everywhere.
I still think it's pretty funny that the first thing one can think of when describing someone they really really like is their looks....but what do I know.
