Islam is in a real sad state of affairs because we rely on knuckle heads with turbans to explain quran and hadeeth rather than making an effort to read and understand it on our own. And even worst when these clowns are empowered to make laws of the land today. Can we atleast agree that laws of land should have no input from any religion? If so, please explain which one sect of islam should Pakistan follow and why? What should we do with 900 other sects and their clowns with different interpretation of same quran/hadees?
