Seriously though, Theory, we had this discussion before. There is no need to run away from terms such as feminist, liberal etc. The right wing thugs have made these dirty words. Liberals need to be true to their principles.
What is a feminist? Forget wikipedia, encycleaipidia or enbikaipidiya definitions.
You are a feminist if
You believe in equal pay for equal work (regardless of gender)
You are against discrimination
You are against sexual harassment
You want sexual predators to be held accountable
You are for freedom of choice - pro choice.
The right wing thugs have used bra burning to describe feminists. And tried to paint them as sexually promiscuous. The irony is the most anti feminists - such as Limbaugh and Gingrich - are morally repugnant
So don’t run away from the label. Embrace it.
And get a pedicure, for crying out aloud. Your label will be safe.
