Love use to be blind in good old days but things have changed, love has grown to be more rational and somewhat logical. You may not fall in love with a an ugly 4.7 feet girl ( Pardon my French buddy).
On a side note, **if you are 6 feet a girl 5.8'' **would appear much taller than you.

From census data and the news available, that is what I have heard. No ability to verify all of that independently but in Pakistan, I do notice that the average person is shorter than say in the US.

Well you don't have to limit yourself to South Asia. I personally believe diversity is great.
