Generally Hotelier avoid controversy
Rent a room to Pakistani and next day, some people from either IB or local police will start torturing the hotel owner.

Indians are baniyas to the core, it would have hurt the hotelier to leave the prospective customer but why take trouble with the police and intelligence bureau.

How about calling it for what it was? It was wrong. Please don’t offer an apologist attitude towards it.
