Ramadan is a month of health, and this is what many people don’t know, and don’t understand.
If you really want to get the best of Ramadan, then you have to follow these tips and take care of the way you eat after sunset!
1. Drink lots of water.
**2. **Eat lots of raw vegetables and fruits after breaking your fasting. 3. Keep away from high caffeine drinks and sodas.
**4. **Keep away from spicy foods. 5. Keep away from fried and oil filled foods.
**6.**Exercise a bit each day; take up light sports like walking or riding a bicycle. 7. Stay low on sugar, whether from foods or drinks. 8. Try not to gain weight, and that is by having a balanced diet.
If we keep the traditions aside then these are the basic things we can follow. My iftrai meal also cannot be completed without pakorras and samosay *sigh

i think moderation is the key.... i dun make all those oil filled stuff everyday. i wud make them maybe 2 times a week but mostly i just serve dinner at iftari time and then we dont eat until sehri time. but its true... samosay, pakoray, cholay, dahil balle.. khanay ka alag hi maza hota hia ramazan mein :)
Don't worry too much about food and drinks in Ramazan. Pay attention to doing all kind of ebadat and staying clear of social , cultural , personal evils. You can eat anything or everything if you don't be lazy and do some kind of exercise even if you go for a walk just for 30 minutes anytime of the day that will keep your metabolism in good shape.
Our traditioanl iftars were developed a long time ago when our ancestors had to work hard during the day - like walking or cycling up to the work place, women doing all the domestic work themselves that included taking out water from the well and grinding flour.
