Some serious stuff that I heard when I was driving to work
Dont leave your toothbrush over the sink. When you flush your toilet, micro mist from you commode travels and deposit itself on your brush. Keep your brush inside a drawer or a cabinet.
Dont keep your medications inside your bathroom cabinet. A hot steamy shower could raise the temp of you bathroom, close to 100 F. That heat could breakup the chemical composition of your medication, making it non-effective or sometimes dangerous.
Never wash your vegetables in the Kitchen sink. Your kitchen sink is often dirtier than your bathroom sink. Alwasy use colander that has a little stand under it.
Totally agree with the point about Toothbrushes - I have been pleading this to family and friends for years, and always have used a travel toothbrush holder even at home.........................
btw, ever since i saw some aunties washing their hair in the kitchen sink, i have stopped eating food at their house next to having pets in the house and long gross nails, that is a big no no.
Good tips! But we should use a good disinfectant cleaner to clean our sinks off after the day's work.
You know what else, the sponges we use to clean our dishes can end up being dirtier then even the sink!
Also, cutting chicken and other meats on a wooden cutting board is dangerous as bacteria from the chicken etc., can seep into the wood and create havoc.
^why do you think those bun kebabs on thelas are so delicious? all that sweat, dirt off hands (god knows where they even go to bathroom), etc etc adds onto the taste. probably same is the case with the haleems that consist of the salivas.
