“The older the weight gain, the harder it is to lose it!”
I was talking to a friend yesterday who had put on a lot of weight during her pregnancy. Her child is now 3 and has finally decided to work on herself. So she mentions to me that it will be real hard for her to shed the weight now that it’s a 3 year old thing! I told her it will be hard because she isn’t ready to quit eating parathas for breakfast.
Please share some other common misconceptions and myths.
I don't think it's true...in fact, parathas made with medium brown flour or whole flour and olive oil can be healthy and work great as a breakfast item.
I was talking to someone just yesterday who wanted weight loss advice, and when I told her to include grilled chicken and fish in her diet, she said "lekin fish tou garam hoti hai".
I really felt for her, she is having medical issues that are making her gain weight and on top of that is so misinformed about the foods that might actually help her lose weight.
That’s lateee
But that doesn’t mean its a myth.I have noticed that I’m a lot more attentive & happy when I have had a good nights sleep.(which is once in a couple of months)

I hear ya. It's a pity that people don't want to get out of that mentality.
are 'no pani after eating tarbooz' and 'no milk after eating fish' myths, or there is some fact to them
SO I got a call from another friend who is also trying to lose weight [the story of every woman’s life], and so I suggest some things that I have personally had good results with such as establishing a workout routine and eating well balanced meals… so she says no she’s slightly anemic so her husband has asked her to quit trying to lose weight.
