Yes i cant predcit future as in dont know i may react differently if such situation comes...but as far as i know myself at the moment this is going to be my reaction.

What about cousins? Should male cousins stay away from girl cousins?
What about work? should the wife avoid all male colleagues?
OR what if the wife is a pious homemaker and the husband has a mistress?

Everyone is responsible for their actions, if people are going to use religion to bash the joint family system then stand up and bash other aspects of society which also effect a relationship negatively.

I just watched a long play on Hum Tv which is summarised as below:

A husband got attracted to his SIL who has been living with the couple since the marriage because the sisters have lost their parents and the elder sister brought up the younger sister and kept her younger sister with her even after she was married. The husband on his last letter when he eloped to get married to the younger sister divorced the elder sister and wrote that he felt ignored by the wife all those years because she was always busy in the brought up of her younger sister and then their 4 children which led him to get attracted to the younger sister when he started teaching her in the study. The friend of the elder sister confronted her that she did not give attention to herself and did not spend time on herself to keep her groomed and well-maintained. The elder sister left the house and children who gave their father a tough time. The new wife could not take the responsibility of children and could not tolerate that her husband spent time with the kids. The elder sister went to stay at Edhi centre where one day the ex-husband came to visit her and said that he and his wife will be leaving forever to another city and asked his ex-wife to return to home to their children.

In such a situation, the elder sister did not have a choice but to keep her younger sister with her since the beginning which became the root cause of the whole problem. But how could such situation be avoided? The younger sister had no place to live. The husband and the sister should have behaved morally but such things could be avoided if the younger sister had lived somewhere else.

on this topic. How can minimum contact be avoided if you live in same house with partner and siblings?

yeah i have seen a previous telefilm of her with kind of a similar role thats why i thought is main bhi yehi hogi.
