are the examples of yazid and muawiyah EVER taken as sunnah ?

yes no one is above the law as Prophet said even if fatima commits theft her hands wud be amputated , but the question is who is the rebel in this case ? people of medina and hussain who are rising up to ENFORCE SUNNAH or yazid and ummayyads who are violating shariah?
