When I say evil, it's when discussions like these take place and people take no benefit other than taking home more hatred towards the other group. If that is not evil then please tell me what is.
Criticizing in a way that you clearly mark the person as kafir is not the same as criticizing him for his actions, that is your personal view.
Note that I didn't say sunnis should support Yazid, I said we should neither support nor curse, just take the moderate path.
Cursing Yazid will have no good because if the person cursing is WRONG in his judgment then he/she will pay the price in the akhira. If he/she is right, there is no good deeds to be had, so what is the point?
