Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

To repeat the judgement on Mu'awiya in a nutshell: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:

"*The best of your Imams is the one you love and who loves you, who gives to you and you to him." *

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

As it is more easy to read in pieces as chunks than to merge all this important stuff in one long post.....

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

Forum policy, I think still, does not allow so many posts repeatedly by one person. Its pretty inconsiderate. You're not thinking about other people. You just want everyone to read what you're writing and get wah-wahs from people reading your posts.

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

During Mu'awiya's rule he put into practice the *advice **that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant peace, had given him, *"When you rule, do it well." **

      He was scrupulous about **justice **and was **generous **and **fair **to people of **all classes**. He honoured people who possessed **ability **and talent and helped them to advance their talents, regardless of their **tribe**. He displayed great **forbearance **towards the **rashness **of **ignorant **men and great generosity towards the **grasping**. He made the judgements of the **Shari'a binding **on everyone with resolution, compassion and diligence. He led them in their **prayers **and directed them in their **gatherings**. **He led them in their wars**. In short, he proved to be a balanced and model ruler. ......

'Abdullah ibn 'Abbas stated that he did not see a man more suited to rule than Mu'awiya

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

When you rule, do it well? The prophet told Muawaiyah that?? You’ve got to be joking. Rasul (SAW) didn’t even advise anyone to succeed him in power, yet he’s giving Muwaiyah political advice for when he takes over?

:rolleyes:

Someone needs to start deleting your posts. You’re spreading lies.

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

*I again say that hassan and hussain(ra) were far far pious than Ameera-i-Muavia(ra) but ONLY piousness is not the criteria to rule in a excellent manner....... so i fully agree with Abdullah ibne Abbas (ra) *......

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

Prophet(pbuh) had just given an indication as he given many indications to many sahabas...he was not telling him the year , date , and time of his caliphate...

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

You are blamming me for lies but indirectly you are blamming prophet(pbuh) and his sahabi for a lie......that hadees is true....

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

*There has been ample testimony to Mu'awiya's abilities." Ibn Taymiyya" said, "The behaviour of Mu'awiya with the people was the best behaviour of any ruler. His people loved him," reflecting what the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is recorded as having said in the Sahih of Muslim: "The best of your Imams is the one you love and who loves you, who gives to you and you to him." This was Mu'awiya's behaviour in a nutshell. *

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

*'Umar ibn al-Khattab said, "Do not mention Mu'awiya with anything but good. I heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say, 'O Allah, guide him!'" Abu Musa al-Ash'ari called him, "Aminu'llah," the trusty one of Allah." *

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

*Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas, the conqueror of Iraq and Iran and one of the oldest Companions and one of the ten promised the Garden, said that after 'Uthman, he did not see anyone who judged by the truth more than Mu'awiya. He also said, " After 'Uthman I did not see anyone giving more judgement for what was right than Mu'awiya." *

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

And this same man Saad bin abi waqas was Mamoo of prophet(pbuh)....one of the best arrow-thrower of arabia...the conqurer of battle of Qadsiyya...which crushed the persian 2500 grand supreme power.....in the battle of badar....when he threw arrows with perfection...prophet(pbuh) shouted with joy....throw more arrows Saad !!!! my mother and father may sacrifice on you...... and when one day he was coming to prophet(pbuh) ...prophet(pbuh) said to people...he is my Mamoo...if someone has such a mamoo...then tell me......Such a greatest personality of islam....!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

:eek:

I am generally a fairly laid back person, but this thread has taken one-sided conversation to a new level.

dawa_i_dil dude, #1 you don’t need to create a separate post for each of these. You can actually put them in one post. #2, you gotta give other people a chance to respond. What you are doing is considered “major flooding” in discussion forum lingo, which is a major no-no.

I am keeping this thread open for now just because you have spent way too much time copy pasting here. Next time you may want to go easy on colors too.

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

this mawiya made people curse Imam Ali (a.s.) and we see some people admiring mawiya like crazy..something from sahih muslim:

*Book 031, Number 5915: *This hadith has been narrated. on the authority of Shu’ba with the same chain of transmitters. Amir b. Sa’d b. Abi Waqqas reported on the authority of his father that Muawiya b. Abi Sufyin appointed Sa’d as the Governor and said: What prevents you from abusing Abu Turab (Hadrat 'Ali), whereupon be said: It is because of three things which I remember Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) having said about him that I would not abuse him and even if I find one of those three things for me, it would be more dear to me than the red camelg. I heard Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) say about 'Ali as he left behind hrin in one of his campaigns (that was Tabuk). 'All said to him: Allah’s Messenger, you leave me behind along with women and children. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said to him: Aren’t you satisfied with being unto me what Aaron was unto Moses but with this exception that there is no prophethood after me. And I (also) heard him say on the Day of Khaibar: I would certainly give this standard to a person who loves Allah and his Messenger and Allah and his Messenger love him too. He (the narrator) said: We have been anxiously waiting for it, when he (the Holy Prophet) said: Call 'Ali. He was called and his eyes were inflamed. He applied saliva to his eyes and handed over the standard to him, and Allah gave him victory. (The third occasion is this) when the (following) verse was revealed:" Let us summon our children and your children." Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) called 'Ali, Fatima, Hasan and Husain and said: O Allah, they are my family.

Re: Hazrat Ameer Muawiya r.a and the Romans

The Messenger of Allah said:

"Loving Ali is the sign of belief, and hating Ali is the sign of
hypocrasy."

Sunni references:
- Sahih Muslim, v1, p48;
- Sahih Tirmidhi, v5, p643;
- Sunan Ibn Majah, v1, p142;

Ali (RA) said: By him who split up the seed and created something living, the Apostle (may peace and blessing be upon him) gave me a promise that no one but a believer would love me, and none but a hypocrite would nurse grudge against me.

  • Sahih Muslim, English version, Chapter XXXIV, p46, Tradition #141

    In her letter, Umm Salama, the wife of the Prophet (PBUH&HF) wrote to Muawiyah: "...You are cursing Allah and His messenger on your minbar, and that is because you are cursing Ali Ibn Abi Talib and whomever loves him, and I am a witness that Allah and His messengerloved him." But no one paid any attention to what she said.

Sunni reference: al-Aqd al-Fareed, v2, p300

 "That it was in the days of Bani Umayyah, more than seventy thousand minbar (in mosques) upon which they cursed Ali Ibn Abi-Talib, in some of what Muawiyah made a Sunnah for them."

Sunni references:
- Rabeea' al-Abrar, al-Zamakhshari
- al-Hafidh Jalaluddin al-Suyuti

What prevent you? This is a question, but you said he ordered people to curse Hazrat Ali r.a.? I dont see where he ordered. This was just a question.
