Oh yes...i agree with you 100% ali(ra) **was matchless **at this period........Infact amr bin ala's(ra) wa not a greater sahabi in virtues and merits like zubair(ra) ...talha(ra) as they were **Sabiqoon-ul-awaloon **but when they fought with ali(ra) ...ali(ra) reminded them of the hadees that when prophet(pbuh) said one day you people will fight with ali(ra) and ali(ra) was on Haq that day...... so ali(ra) was on haq also in Jamal..when his opponents were two greatest and **Ashara Mubasshara **sahabis ...so at this moment of amr bin aala's(ra) .....he was **MORE **on haq.....
