Allah-O-Akbar! Jazak ALLAH:flower1: Masha Allah!!

Allah even mentioned in Quran the time of hijrah in cave of Thour:

:flower1:If ye help not (your leader), (it is no matter): for Allah did indeed help him, when the Unbelievers drove him out: he had no more than one companion; they two were in the cave, and he said to his companion, “Have no fear, for Allah is with us”: then Allah sent down His peace upon him, and strengthened him with forces which ye saw not, and humbled to the depths the word of the Unbelievers. But the word of Allah is exalted to the heights: for Allah is Exalted in might, Wise.:flower1:
[At-Tauba (The Repentance) [9:40] ]

The famous Qur’an scholar al-Qurtubi (d. 671H) makes an interesting deductive commentary on the above verse. He wrote in his al-Jami’ al-Ahkam al-Qur’an:

“Therefore, some scholars say in respect of His saying ‘the second of the two (in the cave)’ that it contains proof that the [rightful] Khalifah after the Prophet (s) was Abu Bakr (r), since the Khalifah is always the second. And I heard our shaykh Abul 'Abbas Ahmad ibn 'Umar say: ‘Verily al-Siddiq was rightly called the ‘second of the two’ as he took charge of the affairs after the Prophet (s) just as the Prophet (s) had been in charge to begin with.’”

And in Sahih al-Bukhari is the report of Muhammad ibn Jubayr ibn Mut’im who said: “A woman came to the Prophet (s) and he ordered her to return on another occasion. She asked: ‘What do you advise i should do if i return and do not find you?’ As if she meant that he might die. So he (s) said: ‘If you do not find me then go to Abu Bakr.’” (al-Bukhari 5:11 & Muslim 4:5878)

And success is from Allah.

Subhan ALLAH, thanx a Lot dear friend.
Jazak ALLAH Khair :)

Very informative article......
Don't know why some people slander about him.....
These people might not pray once in a year,......
might not fast once in whole Ramadhan,...
Don't pay Zakat which is 4th pillar of Islam,.......
Are thos MUNAFIQS who invited Imam Hussain to KOOFA in Iraq and then said "Our tongues are with you but our swords are with Yazeed",....

They are so called lovers of Hadrat Ali but don't obey him....If Hazrat Ali(Radi Allah anhu) had done Bait to Hadrat Abu Bakr(Radi Allah anhu) then whats the problem.......

And thank God it was just Hadrat Umar and Hadrat Usman((Radi Allah anhum) who became Caliphs after Hadrat Abu Bakr(Radi Allah anhu) and before Hadrat Ali(Radi Allah anhu) if would have been more , all of them would have been "Munafiqs" Naazubillah.....

Hadrat Abu Bakr (Radi Allah anhu) was a strange "Munafiq"
he had a golden chance to get rid of Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) and become King of Makkah,...while they were hiding in the cave during their migration to Madina....by helping Makkans to arrest him(peace be upon him)
but he preferred to risk his and his family's life....don't forget Hadrat Abu Bakr's (Radi Allah anhu) daughter & Son used to provide them food while they had been hiding in the cave for several days.....All this had been done by a "Munafiq" and his family while TRUE lovers didn't bother to come out of their homes and see what had happened to their loving Prophet Muhammad(Peace be upon him)

JAzak Allah khair..
very informative..

Peace be upon Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and his Beloved Companions, and the family of prophet Muhammad(SAW).

information appreciated!

The difference between Hazrat Abu Baker (ra) and Imam Ali (as) is that the holy prophet (pbuh) had to reassure Abu Baker not to fear while he was in the presence of the prophet of Allah (swt), while Imam Ali (as) slept in the prophet's (pbuh) bed with killers surrounding him, and then said that that was the best sleep he had had in his life - because of full faith in Allah (swt) and his prophet (pbuh).

You really think that Abu Bakr (r) was afraid for himself!? Ibn Kathir wrote in commentary of this verse: "While in the cave, Abu Bakr was afraid the pagans might discover them for fear that some harm might touch the Messenger."

And are you also about to criticise the Prophets in the same way?

"But when he (Ibrahim) saw their hands went not towards the (meal), he felt some mistrust of them, and conceived a fear (khifatan) of them. They said: 'Fear not: We have been sent against the people of Lut.'" (11:70)

"So Musa conceived in his mind a fear. We said: Fear not, surely you shall be the uppermost." (20:67-68)

So if even Allah's Prophets – peace be upon them all - needed reassuring, what complaint can anyone ever have against Abu Bakr (s)?

Enough as a proof of Abu Bakr's (r) excellence is that in this very verse Allah calls him the Prophet's (s) Companion:

"He (the Prophet) said to his companion (li sahibihi): 'Fear not, for Allah is with us.'" (9:40)

For this reason, al-Qurtubi wrote in his Tafsir: "Whoever denies that Abu Bakr (r) is a Companion of the Prophet (s) is (thereby) a disbeliever since he has rejected a Qur'anic text."
