i dunno, can u translate the dialogue into english?? im not so good with written urdu :bummer:

^
perhaps what the thread originator is trying to point out is the tradition amongst the sikh people where brothers share their wives....

It is a joke people. Dont take it seriously.

^ jee nahi.. it happened in real!

desichurail, why are you so stunned? This is normal...amongst us 3 brothers(we are sikhs) we have 2 wifes now...hoping to get 2 more in next 3 years. It is fun...all the kids belong to us together...they all call us chacha instead of dad or papa....they are each other's chacha's kids...no no...I know what you thinking...believe me...they won't sleep with and have sex with their chacha's daughters(whom they called sisters earlier....and if not why not?) while dear chacha chachi turn into sasur and saas all of sudden.
how is that for a stereotype?

I am not saying that it never happened !

Actually we sometime say something in conversation which means completely different, and NOT what we meant to say. People hearing it start laughing. Maybe your friend twisted some parts to make it a joke. Like many other sikh jokes It should not be taken seriously.

May be he understood the question as you are here who will take care of your wife ? So he answered the way he answered

And kids Mr. Chanmahi is joking too before you start doing

abay CR..I was joking about the cousins part because we know it is not true..no self respecting person in year 2004 marry his chachu's daughter...but we can share our wifes...agar aik bhai ki nahi hai tou we should help him out., right?:)

Its ok Chan-makhna

When women can share husband in some cultures, why can’t husband share wife in some other? although how come all are chachas and no taya :konfused:

CR.. see.. i learn about critical thinkin too.. so guess wat.. when my friend told me the whole story.. i first thought it is untrue.. but he told me the dude Really explain them.. and told dem that his wife is pregent by his brother.. AUR agar 4 saal sey ek admi.. India nahi giya hai.. tu.. Uski biwi.. u no wat... So ab app ko shaid is mein kuch nahi sumj ata ho..
and ChannMahi.. it is totally New for me!.. i m sowwie if i offend u or anythin.. i was just so shocked!

Do Sikhs really do that?

Nadir bhai....just like marrying your cousin sisters and brothers is allowed in your reliigon.....pregnanting your brother's wife is allowed in our religion.....so what is the big deal dude? if it is allowed it is allowed.

Incidently this is not the first time you are so shocked (hairaan)](http://www.gupistan.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=154740)

Your stories are good tabloid material. Mirch masala and controversies.

So last time I checked your story for confirmation, many mind bogling facts were discovered like

1.Nearly half of Pakistani boys lose their virginity even before reaching the age of puberty.

  1. Atleast every one in four females in Pakistan must be providing services to cater the needs of raging harmones in young guns.

Going back to topic, If all this is true and common practice in some culture than it will be little surpise for me. But more chances are that this is not a common practce.

Just to give an example, In shia muslims it is legally allowed to marry for a limited time and then bye bye. You can marry a person for some days(pre-determind) and may not tell anyone about it.(Ask some shia brother or sister for confirmation). It is called muta. Although it is not a common practice in most parts but still perfectly legal and allowed in religion

wronggggggg…not all boys lose their virignity to a service providing woman. …lonDay baaz like boys more than a woman would.
