Hey Johnny Bravo, keep me updated on his scores.
I had a weird feeling that he would do it in this inning and it came true, Hayden is the man and that too on the wicket of Perth, unlike Lara who achieved it on a dead track.

Australian Matthew Hayden re-wrote the record books by pounding his way to the highest score in Test history with an innings of 380.
The left-hander beat the previous mark of 375 set by West Indian Brian Lara nine years ago in the final over before tea.
Hayden was given the chance to go for 400 by skipper Steve Waugh but was brilliantly caught by Stuart Carlisle soon after the re-start.
His innings included 11 sixes and 38 fours and he shared a sixth wicket stand of 233 with Adam Gilchrist, who helped himself to an unbeaten 113 off only 94 balls.
Waugh declared as soon as Hayden had been dismissed, leaving Zimbabwe’s batsmen to try and save face for their side.
Hayden began the day on 183 and advanced it to 271 by the lunch interval as he unleashed a series of punishing strokes - beating his previous best of 257 made against India at Madras in 2001.
Zimbabwe picked up two wickets during the morning session with Waugh (78) and Darren Lehmann (30) both caught and bowled by all-rounder Sean Ervine.
But that was merely the curtain-raiser to a nightmare afternoon as Hayden and Gilchrist flayed the ball to all parts of the WCAC ground.
Hayden breezed past the previous Australian record of 334, held jointly by Sir Don Bradman and Mark Taylor
He showed few signs of nerves as Lara’s milestone approached and whirled his bat in joyous celebration after moving onto 376 with a superb on-drive down the ground.
With Waugh keen not to waste time, Hayden hammered the second ball after tea over long-on for four, but fell to Trevor Gripper’s next delivery when the diving Carlisle clung onto a top edged sweep.
well he aint that sort of a batsman who cud make such a score....
but well played hayden....
i never thought he'd be the one....
Lara says he’s pleased Hayden has broken his record](http://uk.sports.yahoo.com/031010/323/earsz.html)
PERTH, Australia (AFP) - Brian Lara rang from the West Indies to congratulate Australia’s Matthew Hayden on beating his world record Test innings score with a swashbuckling 380 against Zimbabwe here.
Lara spoke to Hayden in the Australian dressing room within two hours of the big Australian smashing his decade-old record of 375 on Friday.
“His sentiments were pretty simple,” Hayden, 31, said.
“He said great things happen to good cricketers, and that he really enjoyed the way we play our game, so he was pleased to see the record go to the Australian side.”
Relaxing with a bottle of beer in his hand, Hayden said: "We play a unique game in a lot of ways. We enjoy scoring runs quickly, and then love putting sides under pressure.
"This is a great moment not just for me, but for the way our team plays.
"I am really pleased it has happened to us because we live our moments together.
"For the next 18 months we will be away from our homes and our families, and this is a difficult thing.
"We share a lot of very special times, and I am privileged that this is my moment, and they (team mates) made it their moment as well.
“When you are batting really well, you are almost in a vacuum, and in that vacuum you feel that time shreds away, and runs are just a consequence of being in the vacuum.”
Hayden said he believed he had been helped by a back injury which was plaguing him leading into the game.
"I was in a bit of trouble leading into the Test, but it was probably a good thing.
“I have found with injuries your concentration tends to step up a notch, and I think I was able to use this to my advantage.”
Hayden said that at the start of the day, when he resumed with 183, he did not have the record in mind, although he had been aiming at making 300.
Hayden spoke of the vital role skipper Steve Waugh had played in his rehabilitation as a Test cricketer after it had appeared a second chance at that level could elude him.
"He once told me when things were not going so well: ‘Hang in there, because you are never out of my thoughts. I know you can do it’.
"That provided a lot of inspiration for me – I just hung in there. I really wanted to improve my game, and I really wanted to prove that I was going to be a good Australian player.
Hayden said he was not entirely comfortable to have gone past the Australian record held jointly by the legendary Don Bradman and Mark Taylor, who each scored 334.
“This fits very uncomfortably, as it so should,” he said.
"But I guess I was never haunted by Bradman’s record, because I am sure that he would have an enormous amount of respect for anyone who had come close to any of his records.
“The fact is we wear the same Baggy Green (Australian cap), I am certain the 12 guys who are wearing the Baggy Green are as proud as The Don would have been wearing it in his day.”
He said he was not sure if his achievement would ever sink in.
"But these are fantastic moments – I guess that’s why you play cricket.
"Today was a very special event. It is very hard to describe my feelings. I was really privileged to be given a chance because of the way we play our game.
"This is the sort of opportunity that may never come along again.
Zimbabwe coach Geoff Marsh – a former Australian Test batsman – described Hayden’s innings as “awesome”.
“It was a truly magnificent knock,” he said. "Our blokes did not bowl badly. It was one of the best innings I have ever seen.
"In years to come, our players will know that there was an awesome player out there who took us to the cleaners.
“He just bullies you – that’s what he did today.”
i saw the whole innings,,,,
specially the todays part..
it was wonderfull ... just wonderfull...
the run rate remained 4+ at all times....

COME ON!!! What a knock!! What an absolutely legendry performance - man i stayed up the entire night to watch it - i was screaming and shouting at the top of my voice - what a damn performance! Oh yes - that was legendry - it was of the highest superstar status - he is now one of the all time greats - right up there with the best of them! Boy what an innings from Matthew - that really was something - and what was i just saying a few days back of how i reckon he’d make a triple ton? He needed that too - he wasn’t in the best of form lately but what a total - he deserves every recognition possible for that!
Anyway i will say more about it in time but for the mean time i’m just gonna enjoy the great achievement of Matthew Hayden!
