if there are more men in the world then why would there be prostitution? prostitution is a result of people leaving their religion…so its lack of morality to blame for that…if a woman is a HOE…marriage wont change her…she would remain a HOE even after marriage…thats just her habit. like I said theres many men out there she can marry is she wishes to…as theres more men in the world.

As you can see there are ALOT more MALES in the world of marriageable age…(i.e. below 65). if one man had 4 wives…it would lead to things like rape and paedophiles being common cuz 75% of the male population in the WORLD would have no wife so they would do other HARAM things to fulfil their desires.

Islam came more than a millinium ago, its not a religion of yesterday, You probably are not aware that war and plagues are on going things in this world we saw to bloody world wars in last century which killed tens of milions of people mostly soldiers … So it would be wise if you can see a wider picture rather quoting the statistcs of today. Islam caters the need of all periods.

Saying that islam promotes poligamy is like saying islam promotes camal riding.

no-one in this thread has said islam is “idiotic” as you liked to put it. there are some Muslim men who promote polygamy (and alot on GS strangely) hence the reason why I opened this thread…cuz all the rest are FOR polygamy…hence I thought why not discuss something different.

I wonder where you are seeing the majority here is die-hard fan of poligamy but i see none Still if you see them why dont you tell them that islam does not promote poligamy and it is allowed in right perspective ( which you know very well )

It is YOUR responsibility being a muslim that you STOP those who are saying or attributing wrong thing to your religion and guide them properly.

nobody made a “sweeping wrong assumption” that all Muslim men plan to marry more than once…I personally know many myself that dont. no-one in our relatives has done that. why you getting so paranoid and making “sweeping assumptions” on things people havent even said
