I haven't seen one and I never will. The internet can be a sick place! Anyone seen the movie "Untraceable"? Really makes you think what the world has come to.

who would want to watch a beheading video? ( I know I wouldn't, shudders)

who would want to witness an actual beheading? For those that have....were they asked by law enforcement or some authority to attend the event? Are they supposed to round up an audience or is it optional? If it's the latter....what does one gain from it?

I think that, to an extent, human beings have a fascination with the morbid. Like watching horror movies.......or like watching a train wreck...you know it's going to be ugly....but it's like you're glued to the ground and your eyes remain open.

It was 'Unthinkable' i think....... its not that the 'internet is sick'.......its the sickness that has been there always...but we were oblivous to it.....

^ RV, i cant stand horror movies ... it was purely coincidental ... someone else was watching it and i happened to then see it ... i myself would never look for such a nasty thing.

I've seen Unthinkable and Untraceable, they're two different movies. In Untraceable, this creep kidnaps people, tortures and kills them in his basement, streaming everything live on the internet. The more views he gets, the faster the victims die. Despite warnings to the public from FBI to not visit the website, millions upon millions of people tune in to watch the live show without realising they're accomplists to the murder!

Turns out, the creep's dad had committed suicide and the video of his suicide was circulated on the TV and the internet as if it was something very entertaining. :/

Not to make light, but I cannot even watch a bakra/animal get zibah'ed, no way could I watch a person get executed...after so many years I am just so sensitive to these things now :(

56k ftw! I've seen a Pakhtoon beheading video and it it was gruesome because the executioner was 10 year old boy.

Sure it was not an execution, nor was it some religous fundamentalist gone crazy.... one minute there was a guy trying to run up a hill and just as he neared the top, not quite sure what hit him becuase I never saw anything impact against him, but his body was hurled back a good 20 yards and when it landed there was no head.... there was also suprisingly little blood but the wound was a bit blue/black round the edges and nobody had any idea where the head went....

That was the first time I saw a headless human being for real and it was awfull but suprisingly everyone held their nerve so it was not too bad.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't an artillery shell or rocket that took the mans head off, most likely thing was shrapnel.

As for execution by sword apart from internet videos and the like I have not seen it for real.... yet.

I think I have that feeling sometimes but to be fair Ghengis would have had me executed becuase I am decended from his most hated and beloved son.

That was hillarious but for the record I'm not subarban nor have I ever been a Commando or Para Commando, my role has been as light infantryman and officer of what you might call irregular troops nothing more.

Agreed. Why would someone ever watch something like that? Just this past week there was a video of some ahmadis being brutally killed. It was all over the forums here and elsewhere but I couldn't bring myself to watch it.

Similarly, videos of such things happening in iraq and other places have been posted but I am never brave enough to watch such brutality.

Depends on what was beheading for, if it is for law enforcement and proper justice system was followed then there is nothing wrong with that... in context is this?

Aye but we dont behead the murgha we only slit the throat and let the blood pour out you see… a real beheading is much quicker and less blood is spilt if you do it properly but it becomes makrooh. :bummer:

I watched it as part of a news article I read online. Just morbid curiosity, wasn't the best idea since I ended up totally disgusted.

The real beheadings (executions) are usually done with one swipe of the sword, and the convict is drugged before it happens so he isn't exactly conscious. The ones you see in videos are done with a smaller knife and require several back and forth movements so it looks a lot more inhumane.

Yeah all these terrorists videos are terrible examples of execution... very poor standards.

For crying out load they need to be taught some serious lessons.

Best beheading is offcourse done by sword or gilluotine. I personally favour heavy swords but with a deep fuller or slightly curved blade, the Japanese Dotanuki and Sino/Turkic broadsword fammily are best for such work.

However beheading should only be reserved for those who want or deserve that punishment and it should not be dished out the way it is...

Hmmm maybe your right, I guess it's all in the "fear factor" of trying to physche the opposition.

But I still find such crude methods as poor, historically many have executed prisoners but Muslims have always been known to be most mercifull, and when executions were made they were always done proffesionally, I mean if you wanted to make it look painfull you could always use a different method, beheading was a mercifull and kind way to go... unless it was done with a cheap axe...

I think the terrorists often lack trained, or ideologically commited members most of them are just thugs, hence why they tend to be so terrible. Proffesional resistance groups tend to be more tidy on the whole, most will commonly make prisoner exchanges rather than be-head.

The video was sent to me once, but I didnt have the courage to watch it. But I have seen my woh (SO) beheading chickens and hanging them by their feet.

There seems to be a difference in various terrorist groups, some have genuine grievances and fight for a cause using the best methods they can, others seem to be intent on commiting acts of murder and violent agression without any obvious objective...

Both are collectively bunched together by popular culture however I think we need to look at things more closely becuase all is not as it meets the eye.

I think few groups apart form totall nutjobs like the TTP, Taliban, Shamil besayeves sytle Chechen Warlords take things too far, groups like Hezbollah have come a long way though from small scale terrorists to national resistance forces.
