Be it the Srinagar one or Muzaffarbad one, share your experience.
I’ve been to Muzaffarabad. We took the bus from Muree and it was quite aride from there. I dont remember how long but few hours. Beautiful journey.
Dont remember much but remember passing the place where River Jehlum splits from River Indus. Also remember visting the main bazaar of Muzaffarabad and buying a kashmiri shawl for my mom.
I wish someone posts some pics here .. that would be awesome
I went when I was 4, so 1992, but have no recollection. However have seen the home video of this trip many times and Kashmir looks like a beautiful place and I would love to be able to visit now.
Yeah I have also been to Muzaffarabad on the way back from Bhurband etc.....very pretty place. I think I also been to that junction TLK is talking about, where you can actually get into river jhelum....there is this bridge...
and underneath they have tables/chairs set up in the river...where u can enjoy tea/snacks...etc.....ooh when i get a chance i will post some pics.....

I am Kashmiri too! I've noticed very few people talk about Kashmir, however it has to be one of the most amazing places I have seen, pure natural beauty-at its best! My experiance wasn't so great, but i loved the kashmir, it truely is paradise!
my roots are from kashmir, one must go sight seeing there. its gorgeous.
there's a lovely hill station in rawalakot a must see. and a place called banjosa. its lovely.
here's a pic of it if anyone wants to have a look. it looks exactly the way it does in the pic
Been to quite many places in Kashmir, mainly Muzaffarabad, but hectic work related trips. And right after the earthquake, so not many good memories associated with them either.
But the landscape surely is stunning.
Went there loong time ago for a week .we went to sardah (our rest house was soooooo beautiful on top of the mountain with river punch flowing), nakkiial ( very very high on the mountain cliff near the border), rawlakot, and some other place forgot the name but it was just toooooooo beautiful i think the name had a J in it. .. we also went to Tatta Pani..the river water was incredibly hot (boiled litearlly) due to sulphur contents coming directly fro the mountain or something.
