Be it the Srinagar one or Muzaffarbad one, share your experience.
I've been to Muzaffarabad. We took the bus from Muree and it was quite aride from there. I dont remember how long but few hours. Beautiful journey.
Dont remember much but remember passing the place where River Jehlum splits from River Indus. Also remember visting the main bazaar of Muzaffarabad and buying a kashmiri shawl for my mom.
I wish someone posts some pics here .. that would be awesome
I went to Murree, Nathia gali, Bhurban on my honeymoon and our driver insisted that we should go to Kaghan/Naran. We took a huge risk and agreed to go there as it was my DREAM to go to Naran/Kaghan. It was last April and there was so much snow that most roads were closed but my love for the area was so much that i took a huge risk.
We went to Muzzafarabad, Balakot on our way to Naran. It was definitely worth the risk , one of the best things i have ever done in my life. It was so sad to see the devastation earthquake had caused in the whole area, i almost cried when i saw people living in the camps. Hundreds of mountains were ripped apart and it was a heartbreaking experience. Other than that, it was BEAUTIFUL place and if you have a skilled and trustworthy driver, you will have time of you life there.
